Help me wit gimp siggy!!!

i made a thingy wit gimp so i could use it as my sig but it says that i cant use it because its an "invalid file type" wat do i do

Try .png files.

no i made a mistake its a pivot thing i forgot to download gimp i do it l8r srry

Gimp is for like graphics and Pivot is for little flash animations.
