Unsure about this, and mods don't respond(There always freaking afk...)

I heard you can get banned for having cheat engine on comp is that true>?
I use cheatengine all the time to speed hack timing games when I get bored of playing them and beating them all the time.
Personally, I'm sick of getting all perfects without it on number 3 of super crazy guitar maniac deluxe.

But, I was never really told by a mod it's illegal, pawns supposed to be obfuscated anyways,so cheatengine wouldn't find any real variables, if blank is telling the truth.
Also, cheatengine I used on some addicting games game changed my 'shots taken' to like 300m :)

i would say its fine as long as u dont use it on pawngame, but thats just what i think. if its not that would be kinda bull crap. but games are actually funner if u dont cheat.

Blank claims Pawns obfuscated anyways, cheat engine sucks at everything even partially obfuscated...I tried it on swords and sandals.

I asked around, driv3r got a 3 day ban for using cheat engine on a game that has nothing to do with pawn at all...
And I thought he was exaggerating, just mad that he was banned, but like 5people said thats pretty much why.

unless you use it to hack pawn, then it should be ok, he might have had cheat engine running while on pawn by accident, but i have no idea how cheat engine works so idk

I have cheatengine, and I've used it, but for tests and told a Moderator. Let's make this clear:

Cheatengine is Pawn Hacking, if you use it, it's against the rules and if we find it you will get banned.

Cheating by using a program is a permanent ban. Cheating by glitch, e.g. proslide is a 30 day ban.

Also I don't think he is in any trouble. Cheat Engine can be used on other games and is only cheating if you use it on a multiplayer game. If you use it on single player games then I have no problems.
