So I don't see whats all up with everybody complaining about there being 3d guns.
Heck all you have to do is redo the art in pawn and update the version, easy as heck, it can still be a sidescroller, just 3dish looking.
I could even do the art.

Even if you want to change the art, it might take a lot of programming, because flash art is drawn in a vector format, which is not compatible with 3d images. Youd have to do a complete graphics overhaul.
not happening. drop it. flash is for 2d, not 3d, if we wanted a 3d game blank would have to convert all of this over into java... not happening.

Sargeant:
Slayer wants 3d art guns, which are pictures (bmp, jpg, etc.). Pictures, as they grow bigger, pixelate. Flash works with vector format, in which objects can increase in size and not pixelate. So Flash doesnt support images(I think). That is why Flash looks like its been drawn, because vector format is very limeted. Fonts in Microsoft Word are also an example of vector format, because they need to be at higher font sizes while not pixelating. Even if flash does support images, it would be hard to program.
I doubt there will be 3d guns

Shockwave is better for 3d, not java. Java is still 2d

You idiots, all you do is import the bmp into flash and use it as you would a vector, as far as I know there is no zooming in while playing pawngame so the resolution of the bmps will stay the same. Plus using bmps will reduce lag anyway, because its less to load. Whilst using vectors you have to re-render it every time it changes. Trust me, I know lots about flash. (not that I'm pointing fingers but half the users here probably don't even know what flash is.)

But you can still make plenty of 3d games in java.
