Yea i know i spelled Marino wrong.:( (damn it!)

But overall i think it looks pretty good. I like the way the right side turned out. :D

It's not very good...5/10

But since you use GIMP, I should be able to help you, as I am pretty much the GIMP leader here. So, what ya wanna do is put some C4D's or brushes over the render instead of trying to smudge the outline of it. Try to make the render look like it's coming out of something basically. And also make sure the whole background has something on it, some spaces can be bald, but not too many. Also, make the render blend into the background by at least using Colors>Color Balance to make it the same color as the background. Don't use Colorize because it give you too much of a same color, while color balance gives you many shades.

Well, it's not bad for a beginner.

Try doing some more with the left side and maybe try some nicer colors.
