Yes it is know for Yahoo and SBCglobal accounts to have later activation codes sent, and sometimes it even deletes your account. Sign up for a gmail account is the best bet.

Secondly, don't use names that are too close to the names of mods or admins or they will probably delete your account.

Doubt they'd go that far, I've seen quite a few imitations of mods, but users don't think they are because they don't have the red name or mod hammer.

Yes, I will recommend Gmail becaise it sends almost instantly. All you have to do is go in your User CP and change your mail.
