Whats YOUR reason for living?

Seriously, a question that always comes up in highschool, and maybe 8th grade health classes is, 'What is your reason for life?'.

Personally, my gf is, I truly think that life is a pointless, cruel, and idiotic cycle, all you do is strain, struggle, and just basically try to get by, just to die, and if you are religious, you believe you gpo to heaven, I personally am religious, but thats not what the question is.

If not for the best girlfriend a guy can have, I would be just doing nothing, sulking, not emo, but with the same basic thoughts.

Before I met her, suicide was still kinda out of the question for me though, but seriously, what do you guys think the point of life is?

And, all life is is a big huge waste of time, almost everyday you suffer more than you enjoy it.
Impacting the earth is a good reason, but without the crap the world was forced to put up with, would you NEED to impact the earth?

Great thread, I hope that when people answer here it kind of sobers them up and they answer in a genuine and nice way.

ON TOPIC: I think that my Irish happieness is what keeps me alive. I say happieness because I don't think that people should say like "Irish Pride", or "Mexican Pride" or whatever, because truth be told, I'm not really proud to be Irish, I'm happy. Damn happy to be Irish.

Yet again, if not for forced crap to happen, and make people suffer, you wouldn't have to weed out all the crap, get the point yet?
Also, I know people that had always seriously thought of suicide, but thought of a reason, and they never thought about it again.

My reason for living? It's fun to see noobs complain when higher ranks start to own them during a game. ^_^ Plus, I get to eat dessert, junk food, play video games, and watch other people suffer! :D
