You decide!
Personally, I say sport.
Give reasons why you picked what you did.
Sport, when I search Gamespot.com and click Sports, Tiger Woods appears  what a noob.

Dictionary.com definition of sport:
an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.
and game:
an amusement or pastime
so it is BOTH

Just because I can't stay awake while watching it, doesn't make it a game. It's a sport. :D

Poker players have professional competitions. So do dogs. Is dog breeding a sport? Is poker a sport?
Golf is a game, plain and simple. The only physical aspect of it, is walking. Something which every human does. In fact, in golf, the spectators walk as much as the contestants do. So your telling me that your "sport" is so physically demanding and skillful, that my 300 pound near sighted 70 year old grandfather can play? How many 70 year olds play hockey, or baseball, or basketball? Golf is a joke. Its boring, and a waste of time. I'm so sick of all these Golf shows and SI taking half there magazine to tell me the latest Putz who managed to swing a golf club. Then they save 3-4 pages to tell us about the REAL sports And why is Tiger Woods an athlete? What does he do thats athletic? Pisses me right off.
If you want a sport, try hockey. In Colorado's game 4 loss to Detroit, two skaters played on broken feet. Both Lappy and Hannan had broken bones in their feet, and PLAYED. Wojtek Wolski played with 5 cracked ribs. Peter Forsberg played with 2 separate groin injuries and a foot problem which all came at the same time. These people are athletes. They put their bodies on the line to win the championship. They play hurt just to help their team succeed. They should be the ones getting 60 million dollars from Nike. Tiger is a hack, and nothing more.

Dog breeding can be considered a sport and so can poker...
Just because someone puts their body on the line to win doesnt mean they are playing a sport. Look at those people who try to win money on those reality shows by doing stupid stuff(fearfactor). They arent participating in a sport.
Just because Tiger woods is smart enough to not play a game on broken feet, doesnt mean hes not playing a sport.
Just because Tiger woods walks as much as the people who spectate at this games, doesnt mean hes not playing a sport.
Just because there are no 300 pound 70 year old near sighted men play golf on television, doesnt mean that they cant. It just means that they cant play with the younger guys.
Just because golf may be a wussy thing to play, doesnt mean that its not a sport.
As someone has stated already in this thread.
the definition of a sport is an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc
and the definition of a game is a pastime or a hobby. Golfers are obviously not doing it for fun or for a hobby(at least on the professional level).
(as you can see in the definition of sport, copied directly from dictionary.com it includes golf in its definition.)

golf is a game, as stated, a game is an "amusement or passtime" well my favorite passtime is sleeping, and since golf induces it that would make it a game. it is not physically demanding to sit in a wannabe car and drive to a little ball, therefore it is not a sport.
no its a recreational sport whihc mean it is played mainly for fun not compeditiveand omg wolfhowls is a mod
Golf is for old people. It is a sport that doesn't require fitness and it has a lot of luck it is kinda like playing a card game. Similiar to War or something.

Poker AND Dog Breeding is a sport smart one...Golf is a sport in my opinion too. Takes crap load more skill than hockey does to play. Not that I don't like hockey. I'm just stating a fact.
