Here I will show you how to make an animated avatar just like mine! It only takes 15min!
Step 1:
Get an animator
I downloaded a 15 day trial of Ulead GIF animator (I highly suggest this).
Heres the link to download: ULEAD DOWNLOAD (http://www.download.com/3001-2186-5422267.html)
Step 2:
Frame Construction
I just used MS Paint. But just make all the frames to your animation 100x100 MP and save them all. (TIP: Save them as repetive numbers i.e. 1, 2, 3)
Step 3:
Starting Animation
Go ahead and open you Ulead, a frame comes up with options, select Try Now. Then another frame will come up, this time select Animation Wizard.
Make the size 100x100.
Step 4:
Adding images
This is easy, hit the add image button and select your first frame and hit open. Then, do this with all you other frames, in order.
Step 5:
Timing
Now all the frames are in order, hit next. Pick the timing you want for your animation, I think i did 65/100th of a second.
Step 6:
Finishing
Now that everything is done, you can select the preview tab in your editing window. This will show you a preview of your timing. Okay, after all that go to FILE, Save as..., SELECT GIF FILE! And then give it a name.
Step 7:
Uploading
OKEY DOKEY! Your almost there! Just go to your image place (Photobucket, Imageshack etc.) and upload your animation. Copy the URL, the one that looks like a web address. And copy it. Go to your edit avatar page for your forum and copy it in the box!
Hooray for you!
Any Questions or comments I will gladly answer.
