The Legendary SMRC Cannon!

Oh, this legendary gun takes me and other beta players waaay back lol :D

For those who dont know, The SMLC (Also known as the facemelter) was the most powerful gun in the game.
It was able to fire a laser that KOed an opponent in one hit faster than you can say "Is that a Laser Cannon? O_O".

Back when pawn first started, It was first named the SMLC. What the gun did was, that you have to hold down the mouse button until it fully charged (indicated by the three red lights on the side that lit up one at a time). When fired, It would shoot a huge laser that would fire at a fast rate until you would let go of the mouse button or all 5 bullets ran out.

Alas, but then Noobs started complaining about it, making threads in the PhPBB forums talking about "Lyk3 OmfG T3h N00b C@n/\/on is too strong". After all that mess the SMLC along with the Protogun was changed multiple times.

The SMLC originally had 5 Bullets, then it was changed to 8 for some reason. After many complaints it was changed back to 5 bullets. The MK1 Protogun was changed to the point where it only did 20 damage for bodyshot and instant kill headshot.Smlc had a glitch where you could infinitely fire your laser beam, so it was changed to a rocket launcher named the Smrc. Right before BETA ended the Railgun was changed to 50 Damage bodyshot and instant kill headshot.
Keep in mind that you can correct me if im wrong on my history guys... all this is still blurry to me...

But now, The SMLC is no more, along with the Chaingun and that one shotgun that costed like 15 kc, I forget what it was called... And No amount of "Bring back the SMRC/Chaingun/Whatever threads" would change Blank101's mind.

Ooh! Now I remember it.. it's sort of weary to me though. If it the gun I think it is I used to love it! Easy 1 shot kills, but well it's gone. I don't really mind, just Deagle everyone now. :)

I played for about a week. Then I quit and went to Runescape. I later wanted to go back, but forgot the URL. Just continued playing Runescape, but I found Pawn about three weeks ago so I started playing again.

I started 2-3 days after open BETA was released.
My first username was 2Shae, then blank let me change it to coolguy878. (Due to an update he made where we cant start a username with a number).

I think they should be brought back for the people who never got to see them..

However...Keep in mind WHY they were removed in the first place, Blank wouldn't have removed them if something wasn't up to snuff..

Im talking about the days where airescape, ekofresh, pooshonmyshoos, sk8urdead, jack, lostvoid, myband22, neo1221, and tf could be seen normally just playing pawn.

The days when you could play a game with Blank101 or Jp.

The days when Ack actually got onto pawngame.

The days when you could run up to a wall holding A or D and press jump to glitch through it.

The days when Los was first implemented.

Before Blank removed it.

The days when there were only 5 servered maps.

The days when Pawn let you know when someone entered or left the chat room.

The days when there was no team chat.

The days when if you had a map you didn't want, you couldn't delete it.

The days when if you pressed the tutorial button you were given a tutorial.

The days when you had to use wasd.

The days when you couldn't see your own rank above your head.

The days when there was a grand total of 0-5 people in the chatroom at one time.

The days when pawn was fun.

SMRC is like a shotgun, but it lags because it shoots missles at the person and smokes comes out. I kinda like all of these guns back, I want my history back.

Beta is gone forever. It was used to test the game, but now Pawn has been offically released there will never be a beta stage again. Hope this clears it up:D

A beta player is a player that played in the Beta Stages of Pawn. Basically, they tested the game out.
