Non-Newtonian Liquid

This actually belongs in the science but because we don't have one I'm puting it here :P

A non-newtonian liquid is a liquid that exhibits the chareristics of both a liquid AND a solid.

For this expiriment you'll need....

CornStarch
And Water

I can't tell you how much because I don't know.

add about a half bowl of corn starch then add a little water mix it with a fork if you can still see powder add a little more do this untill it looks like a liquid but don't get it to wet...

If you shake the bowl it should move like jello in a way. the way to tell if it's ready is when you poke it you don't get *WET* on the tip of your finger.

if this is done correctly you'll be able to do the following and some...

Slap it and it won't splatter
touch it and not get wet
ect...

This is the hard part scoop quite a bit out with your hands and continue molding it fast make sure you apply presure! it should be a solid in your hands as you CONTINUE molding it THEN cup your hands and let it sit it should almost instantly turn into a liquid

fill your local swimming pool with custard and then do a 20 meter dive head first.....and once your impact has finished you slowly sink head first into custard before drowning in custard.....yum yum

wow, you really tried it w/o having the mesurments it's kind of hard I'd reccomend a bunch of powder 1st then add a little water then a little more untill it's about right :)
