My mom was ignorant enough to work on our lawn mower in our basement(which is where me and my brother sleep) and spilled the gas. So now the whole area smells like gas and its had atleast an hour to spread out. I already have a headache and stomachache from being down there, and despite that breathing in gas causes loss of brain cells, brain damage, liver failure, lung failure, and heart failure my mom is trying to make me sleep down there. And its been really cold at nights recently so my brother might turn the heater on, heat + gas = NO, and yes, my brother is stupid enough to turn the heater on. He'll probably want to sleep there just to breathe the gas in for a high, even though he's had bad lungs since he was born. Even I know that you don't work on vehicles with gas inside an area, you work on them outside so that if it spills to can spread out, instead of being contained.

Gas isn't harmful as a liquid, unless you drink it.

Its the particles that get in the air that you smell that are used to cause fire and does harm to your body. I can't wash it out from the air, I have to let it air out, but at night my mom is not gonna leave our basement door open because people could steal something, or my brother or I could leave.

She don't lock us in, we usually sleep in the basement, its our room.

And the gas the Nazis used was way worse.

I slept on my upstairs couch, but I had to go sleep in the basement around 4 cause my dad had to get ready for work, I felt ok then. then when I woke up around 7(our school had an 8 o'clock day today) I had a headache and felt dizzy. My brother slept all night down there though.

And marioNyoshi, she didn't blame us, and my brother is older than me.
