LOL. To true, .PSD's DO take up a lot of space for such a small item though.

Lol then you totally ripped! =D
When someone posts a psd your supposed to use it as a learning device, that means taking no layers, just using it as a guide.

Oh god, no it doesn't. I remember when the retards had a huge debate about it. That doesn't mean you ripped. If the person put it on the internet, then he is giving thieves permission to take it, it's called common sense.
BTW: post your outcome Bean.

I recommend you Do Dload, it has a lot of cool effects like color selection through layering, and pen tool gradients.

Yes it does. I don't like it when people make a huge mess out of just taking a stock, but if someone's going to rip every damn layer then they are an infidelic heathen who's mother was a weasel and father was an overgrown goat who were both embarrased on how their offspring turned out.
Thanks

Yeah, Sketch knows that.
I had to tell him that before he made me convert a bunch of ABR to gimp brushes.

Then don't put it on the internet, they make such a mess complaining about how someone stole it. Anyways, no copyright, they can do it. inb4 copyright is placed once you finish project, you have to make a legal claim before it can be copyrighted so don't start that huge debate again.

Yeah, that's how it is, but it's not how it should be, and it doesn't mean you should support it in anyway, like saying it's not ripping.
If you want to make yourself feel better about it, I read an article that said your 'copyright' when you finish a work of art expires after a while or so, and other people can freely take it. However, I didn't think to read into how much 'a while or so' is, but it's definitely more than a few days.
Anyway, it's not really about what you're doing with your .PSD, you gave permission.

No, copyright's must be legally claimed. You don't just get one for making something. I've been through this process. Anyways, I know I shouldn't support it, but it's common sense, if your going to make a work of art and then post it on the internet, your begging to get it stolen. Unless you have legal training, you shouldn't even plan on putting any of your works on the internet. Oh, and once you fill out a copyright claim, it's the life time of the creator plus 50 years if not renewed.

No, any work of digital art someone makes, unless otherwise stated, is impervious to being taken, at least legally, and it's also common sense that if you take something that's someone else's on another forum, you're begging to be banned. Or punished severely.

If I stole some of your work without it being copyrighted, and you took me to court about it, I would win the case because legally it's not yours once you post it on the internet without a copyright etc. You may win the case if you provide extensive proof of you having though, which I doubt you could provide.

Yes, that's the law. However, most forums have their own laws, and by taking my art, you're at least violating their rules.
And it costs too much to go into court. That's what DDoS was made for.
