A Few Things That Need To Be Cleared Up.

Dear Blank101 & Staff,

I am an avid pawngame player, and forumgoer. I'm writing to you about some recent pawngame glitches. In December/January Player Stat Tracking went down. Some people lost their ranks, you have since told them they cant get their ranks back, and that in the future in order to make an account that is eligible for rankability(<- my word) to make one through the forums. I'm not so sure this is the best solution. Whenever I'm on the game I see people saying "WHY CAN'T I RANK UP?!" I tell them to go to the forums, and about a third(1/3) of them do. But what happens to the people who dont go to the forums to make an account? Well- they end up leaving pawngame for good. Therefore I think that with PawnGames best interest in mind, you should fix the stat tracker for good. If this calls for a 100% startover, I'm sure thats fine(after Assassinator ranks up(lawl)). I think the game needs more competition anyway. Don't you? About a month after stat tracking went down-February/March- a new glitch arrived. "The backround glitch" as its famously called. It happens when a map made with the backround number one(1) glitches to the loading screen. The loading screen is usually in the 90th percentile ex. 91% 92% 94% of the "game" loaded. This glitch is very irritating- as it distracts most players from the game. The backround is much more bright and different colors, than the number one(1) backround. Also keeping PawnGames best interest in mind I believe that that glitch should be fixed-permanently. There has also been recent hacker "attacks" apparently a hack has surfaced that people are willing to download(no matter what cost to their computer) to gain an unfair advantage in PawnGame. I believe that problem should also be erradicated. While I know that no game can be "completely" unhackable the less hacks that surface the better the game will be.
Hopefully you will take this into consideration and help out the future of the game.

I am not sure if I have a say in this, but here is my "say":

I agree with you about the stat tracker...
But re-starting will delete many players who worked for about 3 months on their accounts. If you re-start it means they waisted 3 months out of their life. It's really irratating to see you waisted a week, think about 3 months... To tell you the truth, I never got the background glitch. So i can't argue with you on that.

But if the re-starting is really going to take place, they should re-new the whole forum aswell for the new start of the game.
New jobs... More active mods on the forums and game...

Blank is a very busy guy. He has a lot to do and asking for all this stuff to be taken care of is a little much. Do you actually know how much time it would take to fix those glitches? Also as far as the rank reset I don't like the idea myself I have worked hard the last two months, I agree with Lordangers I don't want to have wasted two months of my life.

Side Note:

The mods don't get paid if I am correct.
So Blank should only worry about the money he is paying for the forum upkeep and the vBulletin service. And if he really cared about how much he is earning, he would of done what every forum admin who cares about how much money he has: Add the mod which posts ADS right after every post posted.


Koheran, you shouldn't expect people not to reply.
This is a public forum, we are supposed to reply to what's ever intresting us. If this was private, you should of just messaged a moderator and told him how you feel.

Yes I agree 100%. Well kinda off a bit. First of all. Whats the point of the register on the log in screen? It doesnt work anyways. :\ Why cant we jut have a link that leads them to the forums? I mean its slow and takes a heck of time to finally get an account, and it is also a waste of time knowing that it wont rank! :| (Bummer) And yes every game is hackable. Screw the inventor of hacks....... Background glitch needs to stop. This might be caused by the server.

2. I am about 50-50 on this idea. Of course not the rank reset.
3. If he made the damn game he can fix it up just as well.

> Remove the Create an Account button on the log in page.
> Create a news announcement explaining that if your account does not work, you need to make a new one through the forums.
> Sticky a thread explaining the above in the Help and Pawn Discussion Sub-Forums.

background glitch can be easily ignored..you must be a fool to get "distracted" by it.

there will always be hacks for computer flash games...patch one up 6 more surface..

We understand what you're saying, but it takes time for things such as stat tracker to be fixed. It's harder than it seems. Also, be patient, I've talked to Blank and he says "he has stuffs up his sleeves" (whatever that means :\). Anyways, you can't expect an update every month.
And for those that didn't know, blank does update pawn. He might not consider those updates worthy enough to change what version it's on (those updates mainly stuff like security patches, and also things like that font change)

Agreed, Pawn is not useful in weekdays (unless it's a half day) and school/work is important.

yeah i was just thinking-recently(last night while trying to fall asleep) that since blanks in college he'll probably work on it in the summer when he doesnt have papers to do.

Agreed, Pawn is not useful in weekdays (unless it's a half day) and school/work is important.
i happen to play from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays, and i rarely play on weekends. So i disagree pawn IS useful then.

blank can fix all this but the thing is he doesnt always have time. he goes to collage and most likly has a job. and other then working on kinks and glitches he first works on fixing hacks. hes patched some hacks and he has to do some work with our hacking system and then if the hackers are smart and mess with it to get through then blank again has to go and change lots of things to patch up some hacks or minimize hacking to a certain point and etc. if there were no hackers to go and delay some of his time then most likly there would have been a another update long ago.

ps. i agree with antzz lol i have a gf and im always gone with her and at school :) i love my senora! but yeah!
