Most of the apps are not that great, here is what mine would semi-look like for a tech app if I made it.........

1.) Are you an active member of the Pawn Community, on the game and the forums?

Sure am! :) I joined right when the Beta was let out, and have been an active member since then. I have been a high non-spam posting poster, and am a frequent visitor to most of the forums and sub forums. However I do not play the game much anymore because lets face it once you play a game for so long it gets boring and you move on to better things... I do play every once in a while to secure my "noob" rank on this name, and play on another non-famous name.

2.) Do you actively post in the Tech Discussion forum?

Yes I do. I view the forum everyday and usually post to most new questions, unless they are already answered, I did not see it, or plain silliness of the post. If a question was answered and it was wrong I would repost in their stating why they are wrong and the correct answer.

3.) Do you have any experience in the technology world? (This includes programming languages, fixing computers, ect.)

Very much so. My mother owns her own company, "Administrative Network Technologies INC". I frequently build computers from scratch, install systems, programs, get rid of viruses, spyware, adware, malware, and more. I know how to fix almost 99% of any problem on Windows 2000, ME, XP, Vista, and 2003 Server. Not only on those operating systems I am functional at but I am also very familiar with MAC and multiple versions of LINUX. (Ubunto, Fedora Core, Yellow Hat, Red Hat, LINUX SERVERS, to name a few). I have worked in the computer field for about ten years now. I know basic programming languages like HTML etc. I also know most and unmost famous computer programs like Microsoft Word, Photoshop, Aim, MSN, etc. I also know some online programs like MYSPACE, Vbulitin and others. I also know how to work PAWN. :)

5.) How old are you? (Don't lie)

I am currently 18 born on November 4th 1989.

6.) Do you understand what your duty as a member of the Tech Team entails?

Yes, it entails that I be a frequent poster in not only the tech forums but in the other forums as well. I need to be polite in every forum I go to and in every post I make. I know I must not flame, be rude, ignore etc other people of the community. I must follow and KNOW all rules, as well as general knowledge. Shall I get a PM or another type of message I must also be kind and answer those. I must be knowledgeable in the technology department and also in the real life department.

7.) Why are you interested in becoming a member of the Tech Team?

I want to become a member of the tech team because I want to help other users. Although I am CURRENTLY helping other users, I would like to have an official tag so that people know that I am a designated and dedicated as a helper, so they might ask me questions via PM or other means. Also so people may take my words more seriously, as an official tag usually does that most of the time.

8.) Do you submit yourself to this user group and all its rules, understanding that breaking said rules will result in being banned for an undetermined amount of time?

Of course. I follow the rules now. I know I have broken some rules in the past before and for that I am sorry. However I know that you can look past that and higher me because of my outstanding reputation in the community and my ability to help people.

9.) Did you notice there wasn't a #4?
Nope. :)

So why can't more appls like this? If you can't take time out to write a decent of very good application you should not be allowed in.

I have seen some people having applications that are, well, very bad. I want to give you guys some tips to answering the questions.

Do not just say 'Yes' to every question. Moderators do not find it appealing that you only have a one word vocabulary.
Explain what you are trying to say and make it run smoothly.
Always use proper English when writing an application. We want to see how eloquent you are.
Don't write silly little comments after you answer your questions.
Try to review some of the applications that were accepted, they may teach you something (Not just how to spell words).
You have to know what you're applying for, don't do apply because you think your status amongst players will improve.
If you get accepted then don't brag or show off, whilst if you get declined don't be angry or cause havoc, just improve and learn. Then go back when you are ready.
Last, but not least, review your application, make sure everything is how you want it to be.

This is what I recommend for you to do when make an application. It is not mandatory, but like I said, I recommend it.

2.) Are you active member of the Pawn Community, on the game and the forums?

Yes I am. I am on pawn for 7-8 hours a day. I also check of ppl need help with their tourneys. I am a high non-spammer, a really helpful guy, I could make a really nice GIMP for the winner. I also try my best to help the people who need help.

4.) Would you be willing to help advertise the tournaments sponsored in forums?

Of course. I will do anything for people coming to a tourney. I will make sure no matter who does a tourney I will make sure that alot of people join that tourney. I think everyone should not make one person fell lefted out. I will help advertise tournaments and make sure people join them.

5.) Why do you wish to join the Tournament Directors?

I really want to help people have really good tourneys. I also think I have the
requirements. I will also like to enjoy playing and hosting tourneys. I really enjoy them. It brings out the best in peopleand it is competitive. I really think tourneys are a great thing.

6.) Did you notice there wasn't a #3?

Yes I did. I was wondering about that? It took me 10 seconds to notice. I was like were is number 3, but then I notice it was not there when this question came up.

7.) What time zone do you live in? (If you don't know, just tell us the state you live in.)

I live in central time, N.J. I will never move,so do not worry about that.

8.) How old are you? (Don't lie.)

I am 14. My birthday is Jan 14, 1994. Just in case you want to say happy birthday.

9.) Do you understand what your duty as a Tournament Director entails?(If so, please write a complete paragraph of what it is)

Yes. It is about making sure tourneys do not get messed up. We are responsible to make sure that happens, also we have to be good screenie takers. Basically, it is all about making those tourneys happen. If the guy who is hosting the tourney is not here, it is our duty to run that tourney for him and take screenies and tell him the results. This job requires alot of tourney directors to make sure a tourney runs good, and also we have to also ref the games.

10.) Do you submit yourself to this user group and all its rules, understanding that breaking said rules will result in being banned for an undetermined amount of time? (Have to scare the noobs away. :] )

Yes I do. I understand my punishment if I break the rules. I will not complain or evading if I break a rule. I understand the punishment and I sumbit myself to this usergroup, but I will not break the rules because I read them a couple of times and made sure that I understood every rule.
