If you look at Pawn in the future well you know there won't many big changes. Maybe a new gun? A new map.. a new feature? On the other hand if you look at Runescape in the future it might be a whole new game in a couple of months. Each week there is a new quest. Each year there is a new skill. Each month there is a graphics improvement. Each couple of updates there is new music to unlock, some new items, more minigames and just a new layout. Now my question is to you, do you this it is so good that Pawn just changes slightly whilst other games may change so darmatically? What are your opinions? Do you think this effects the lasting and quiting of players?

Yes i think it does, pawn can be boring to people because nothing has changed. When I am a pawn elite THINGS WILL CHANGE xD.

Truely Spoke,Stare
But i dont think like 10 ppl can do like 50 stuff?
Jagex(Runescape) has like 60 Graphic Editors
So i dont think Pawn has all time to do much changes

both games can get boring i do agree more updates means better the game but runescape killed itself with the wealth transfer and the wilderness no killing people update and other updates too so sometimes updates are not so good

This game can't expand...
On the other hand, there are less players than on Runescape for example.
So the mods can actually help you personnaly.

I played Runescape... Level 70... I played for about 3 or 4 years...
I got addicted...

Runescape is a game which changes with improvements and such.

Pawngame on the other hand has Ranks.

People ussually play games which they can be better than others.
I had not chance being better than many people on runescape.

But in a smaller game such as Pawngame I can get to know many people better. You can communicate with the whole community rather than only in the game.

It's a whole new diffrent kind of gameplay.
I ussually play for reputation, that means I try to be active on the forums and try to get as many points.

So my rank goes up and more people know who I am on the forums.

Pawngame might not change in near future.
But look at runescape, it started as a 2d browser game and it's now one of the best MMORPG online there are.
This game is pretty new and has much potential and even more than runescape.
It just needs to be advertised right so people get to know it better.
When there are a lot of players it makes the game more intresting.

If you want to compare Pawngame to the future of pawngame, try out "Kart Rider" it has the same features Pawngame will have with the clothing...

Bassicly, Pawngame has a huge potential.
To get big as runescape it needs a few things:

1) More coders and scripters
2) Newbie friendly forum
3) Newbie friendly website (New players ussually perfer one front page rather than a few pages. One front page with many links rather than a front page with a "Play Game" on it, something similar to Runescape would do the trick)
4) Something addictive like ranks, levels something which players can compare themselves to one another. That is exactly why runescape is very popular. People ussually play games for the way they can compare themselves to their friends and brag. Games such as "Pong" are not addictive because you aren't comparing yourself to anyone. If a multiplayer game wants to be addictive= attractive it must have some sort of going up levels (rankings) and to be able to do things that people with a lower rank/level can't do. That would addict people to try and be more and more higher ranked.
5) Promoters... I know CMG is promoting the game... But a new team called promoters would really do the trick to get more members.
Look at "Forumer" for example- it is a forum hosting company and is the largest hosting company (free hosting) in the world.

Why?: They have promoters who promote their features in other places.

6)Careless mods, it sounds bad, but when I mean careless mods I mean mods who are not afraid to delete topics. The current mods are too nice and people friendly. At many games they have about 3 nice mods and about 12 evil mods who tend to delete many topics. Right now we have all the mods nice mods. It's like the good cop and the bad cop...
If you look at the help forum, if there were a few mods deleting all the answered questions and off topic threads, that would clear everything up.
Right now all the mods are loved, but there has to be some mod everyone hates which deletes topics whether or not the thread is needed there must be something to clear the spammy forum up.

This post I made seems like suggestions, but no, I am just showing you my oppinion about things which I think should make Pawngame grow and prosper like runescape.

I agree with you Lordangers. If you look at Runescape their forum is maybe the worst one I have ever seen, but WOAH the posts! Every second there is a new topic, it would be amazing just to see a Moderator answer one post. Well Pawn does have ranks, so does Runescape. RS has levels and a Hiscores <-- English way of spelling Highscores. Jagex has 300 staff which it actually pays. Imagine having 300 admins. I can see how Pawn is better, but Runescape can also be better. I almost maxed out my combat level and I was on one minigame for a year. ONE YEAR on one minigame. There are hundreds of Minigames on Runescape. That just goes to show how fun and interesting it can be.
