ok so i am thinking of buying a laptop for myself but dunno if i should. i wil want one that will be able to hold a large game (gta sanondraise) limewire, lots songs, some other junk. what type will i need please not much over $1200 aussie currency.

Well depending on what version of windows is still lurking around in your place, you'll need at least 2-4MB of Ram (maybe 2 lol) and BIG Hard Drive 106/180+ maybe?

1 think i also always check is the company that build the Laptops.. i'd stay away from Dell & Toshiba LOL

Dell is okay, depending on what version you get. I recommend Microsoft, they're pretty hot. Hope you get the right one. ;)

Dell is good if you buy the "Vostro" brand of laptops and Desktops. You can get a crazy high powered fast Vostro desktop for $1200(American Currency) You should get XP professional if you want your computer to be faster. (Vista is new and they are working the bugs out of it and XP Home edition can be seriously slow)

hey by the way if you didn't know limewire is illegal so dont get caught and sooner or later it give you a virus purposly in a couple of years or months then it forces you to go limwire pro and make you pas $30 and rising every month i hope you dont download it dude!

Well I think you should get a Microsoft Laptop. (WOOOO american companies) I have the same problem, my home computer is old and I want to get a Laptop but the good ones are extremelly expensive.

i might do a deal with dad to pay for half a new big computer saves all the time and money with laptop and it doesnt hold as much stuff
