Official leave RS alone petition.

I played RS, loved it, got bored, hated it, then played it again(now) and like it.


The thing about RS I have discovered is, you guys play it as a regular game.



When you play it right, you play it is a timewaster IMO. Thats when instead of playing to try to be better then everyone else, you play it to waste time and see all the cool things you can do.

RS is unique in the sense that it provides competitive gameplay, grinding and timewasting all in one game, so it gives a unique addicting experience.


So, you all hate it cause you compare it to games like CoD4.


IT'S A BROWSER GAME. Browser games can't handle things like CoD4, and the fact they cram so much stuff into a java browser game, is amazing.

So, how about we leave RS alone. It's not a big deal to not flame people who play it. I mean, one of the most respected people in the pawn forums played RS.


GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR MREITZ!

So, don't flame us for playing a game that's different from your style of game.


And, Humandalek, pretty much 90% of all of your posts are related to shadow the hedgehog. It's kind of annoying, could you please stop saying lame sonic related death threats?

I play RS like .5% of my time on the Computer

I lol'd at J90's post.. anyways the games okay im lvl 94 with 10m+ and its pretty fun once you have decent stats and members i dont play it anymore though since pkings gone and bh sux. :/ oh well had good times on rs.

The idea I was trying to put out was people compare runescape, a java based browser game(which is usually very small), with a huge console game, or WoW or some other big all star title.




Also, IMO the fun of it is not trying to get to high levels, it's trying to get to new stuff. The moment you stop realizing the fun is to get achievements instead of getting levels RS loses it's fun level.

But, since the junk updates it's become ruined.
They brought a poll, and OHH EMM GEEE, guess what?
The number winers in the poll al add up to, "F-you jagex, we want our dang wildy back."
Since the wildy was removed the "Current users playing" went from ALWAYS 300k+ to around 60-200k, varying greatly now.

I'm a retard? Wow. Thats amazing. Someone who cannot spell "cause" is calling me a retard. This is shocking.


And this thread is not useless. It's here to stop people from flaming this game. Flame the other games. Flame Club Penguin(only 3 year olds play it), flame Maple Story, just leave RS alone. It has potential to be one of the greatest games ever.
