Guests - muted!

Well I am sure many of us have seen that bad guests, someone that says something like this:

They refrain from listening to the rules. And well hey!, what's stopping them? If you report them well they wouldn't care. It's not like it is their account. Some people even make guests to insult other people they don't like.

Here is my suggestion: Guests being muted! Some may not know what this means, many of us probabvly do though. This means guests will not be able to talk and when they type nothing will come out. Well yes, maybe that is a bit harsh, but I think it is a good idea. For example when they would type something and press ENTER a message would come up saying for e.g.:

Sorry, you are not registered as a member and you are a guest. Please register for a normal account and you will be able to chat.
-----------------

I believe this will stop some corruption and influence some new members which are usually guests to make new accounts. :)

Uh not to be the party pooper but i totally disagree. Alright here's the situation. When you first came to pawngame you went directly to quick play, most likely. Then tried to figure out the controls and what was being offered in this new game. Then you can't even talk....(i would turn the game down)

i agree with what assassinator said.

Guests should be able to talk and ask guestions.
since a lot are new to the game, and want to know more about it before they sign up.

if you have a problem with the guests,
i suggest either ignore them, or go to a different game.

since the bottom games are designated for guests,
you should be warned that these people might not know what they are talking about.

if there is to be any muting, it should be done manually and individually.

Signing up/registering

Wont be the first option. Most people want that first experience on what the game is gunna be like. Taking even more privileges away from guests will probably result in less members.

How about this. Guests, can be talked to, but if they swear or anything, there will be a special command called "mute (guestname)". If you mute them they cannot talk(ip checked) for the rest of the day.

However, it will take a log of the chat in that game, and if the guest did nothing wrong, guess what? The false reporter is banned for a day and given an infraction.

Yeah, very good idea, it would also encourage guests to actually register an account on Pawn, which would be a good thing for Blank101 ;)

Also, when they attempt to send a message in-game, they should get a message like:

"Please register an account on Pawn to talk to other users".

Actually Im against the idea
The point of quick play is so you can:
a.) Learn how to play the game
b.) Play without having to sign in

What I'm trying to get at is, without talking, it woul dbe much harder for them to understand how to play.
