View Full Version : Dax5's Lights Out Tournament
Due to popular request of people that have school I have moved my tourney to next Tuesday evening.
I will add more teams on the day of the tournament if enough people show up. So if you are on subs list you should definitely show up to the tournament because you will probably get to play.
I have decided to host my first tournament. It will be played exclusively on the map “Lights out”. There will be 6 teams and the team leader will be the highest ranking member on each team. If you want to be a part of the tournament post on this thread. I will add more teams if necessary. You must be at least double bars to join.
The tournament will be Tuesday, April 29 at 4:00-6:00 PM Pacific time. (Use time zone converter) CLICK HERE TO USE TIMEZONE CONVERTOR (http://www.timezoneconverter.com/) The first round will be at 4 PM and the next round will start as soon as all of the previous round's games are finished There will be a chat room set up 5 minutes before each round that will be called "DaxTournament". Rules
1. Must follow all pawn rules
2. You cannot join in the middle of a game
3. If no one from a team shows up that team will forfeit the game
4. All guns may be used
5. I may change these rules at any time

It looks like I should add two more teams so here goes. However keep in mind that if there is a low turnout I will probably put everyone on just four teams like before. Everyone should get to play no matter what.

Yea I realize that but it's only going to be to like 100-150 kills so I don't think it will be too much of a problem.

Yea well if there are 16 ppl that want to join you will have to play with a full team. Of course a lot of times not everyone shows up so you might get to play with just one other person anyway.

Sorry man I am with Ureon and Galm and a lot of others on this issue. P90s and SGs are in the game to be used. So I am sorry if you are dissapointed with that but that is the way I feel.

Dax, are you sure about lights out.. it's a small map.. and about two full teams in that small map will cause lag. It's your tournament thoug, I'm just stating my opinion. ._.

I'll think about it but I think that if I only go to 50 or a 100 kills I can probably get away with it. If it lags majorly in the first game I'll change the rest. Thanks for your input though.

Ok, guys make sure you're 5 minutes early for each game. Try to be on at 9:25AM pacific time, which is 10:25 mountain time, 11:25 central time, and 12:25 eastern time. (I don't know england's time zone so lol) I would like to see everyone that signed up show up. That would be a first for all the tournies I have seen. :D

I dont know why you're laughing at this. isnt it the job of the tournament directors to make it so tournaments DONT fail? where were they?
Only half of the people showed up despite me sending a pm to everyone that signed up. I think that this type of tourney doesn't work too well because it is hard to get a date that works for 24 people. The next tournament that I do will be a 2 on 2 and the players of each game will get to pick a date that works for all of them.
The tournament wasn't a total failure. iFreak is rather sore because Ying and True owned him lol.
