Yeah, this game is really overrated.
I've played and beaten all three Halos (who hasn't?) on legendary, and i have to say it was pretty damn LAME. Its like Runescape, addicting, mainstream, and i really don't see the fun in it.
Ocarina of time owns.

Your comparing a game that came out nearly 10 years ago to a game that came out just recently? They're are not even close to being the same type of game. You can't say something is better then something else if they don't have anything to do with eachother.

You guys waited hours outside for Halo 3 to come out and you were surprised with what you think of as an "overrated game". All of the thousands of people in the US who bought Halo 3 got it because of the televised products such as Moutain Dew's GameFuel and the clothing. Halo 3 was big before it came out. Well guess what, it's not overrated, all of the people who fell for it are failures who are victims of the television.
On the other hand, I did research for hours on halo 3 before it came out and I've come to the conclusion that I will spend $70.00 on the limited edition on release date. I play Halo 3 to this day and I haven't complained once.
If you are a Call of Duty Fan and former Halo fan, you'd probably say the following: "Halo sucks bceause it's blah blah blah idontknowwhatthehelimsaying blah blah blah and I think you should get a real game like Call of Duty"
Well maybe if you thought about it and didn't get Halo 3 because Halo 2 was good, maybe you wouldn't of had been an idiot about it now!
Halo cannot be overrated if nobody likes it for one thing. And plus, I bet all of you bought the game! Bungie didn't make Halo 3 to trick anyone into buying a crappy halo game. They worked hard and even sleepless nights for this game and for you to enjoy another Halo experience. But what happens? People find a better game and try to shoot down the next greatest thing WHICH can still be considered better.
Halo is far from overrated and far from a bad game. It's a masterpiece and if you disagree i'm prepared to debate unless you say IMO (In my opinion) because this isn't an opinion.

It should be rated T. It has low amounts of blood. And its futuristic (Not really like COD4 or RSV) Those games have realistic guns. The weps make it unrealistic (Exept the bullet guns)

to me all games are over rated it makes you people get fat, i only go on computer a max of 3 hours a day on weekends. i play alot of sport aswell which doesnt give me much time, but i choose to hang out at sk8 park.

Ocarina of time=moderate replay value after first playthrough.
Halo 3=Moderate replay value (Single player) with the addition of campaign scoring. Plus the online multiplayer. Plus new maps every now and then. halo 3 w/ multiplayer= High replay value

i competly disagree with you...no offence... i personly love halo 3...sure its got some down sides but...also i am a avid Zelda fan, but the ocarina wasn't the greatest to me...
