Yeah. Looking on Planter Renders. Just happpened to find the exact Doom 3 render I was looking for.
And then I totally owned it.
And Mario's gift. Not the best, but hey..

I like the gift to mario better.

It? Please be more specific.
"It" as in "the Doom 3 signature" I pieced together a stock. Place, duplicate, move, erase, duplicate, move, erase. You know.
Then I added some coloring layers and a few gradient maps/curves and some textures on lighten and... Done!
And "it" as in "Mario's gift" I did some smudging, some selective colors, C4D with coloring overlay and gradient overlay and move around, add render, more selective colors and hue n saturation layers, curves, dodge/burn layer or two, apply image... done!

Your colors on both of them are bad.
Your using too many adjustment layers to make just about every sig you make monotone.

I'm trying to make the colors on the render match the colors on the background a.k.a blending.
Anyway, the Mario one has red, blue, dark blue, and black, a variety of different colors.
And the Doom 3 one is a black-white sig.
