where do you guys get your renders. cuz i get em at planet render but somtimes that doesnt work for me. any tips? also does any one use gimp anymore? an dif so tips on that would be great. thanks

Most of us don't use renders, we use stocks. To get stocks, go to any public forum such as Straightline Designs, just go to resources and search for stock packs

stocks are basically pictures of things without it being cutout, if you use planet renders.. go to it's forums, log in, and then scroll down to resources, click it, then you'll see a subsection, click stocks, it'll give you threads, and just click the links to those threads :)

You can also find some resources on http://deviantart.com to use.

Just make sure they aren't copyrighted. And if they are, Ask the creator permission to use their work.

on stocks do u just cut the background out?
