Pawn has been a major project of ours ever since its conception in December of 2005. Before Pawn, JP and I had dabbled in other various projects, but nothing anywhere near as big as Pawn. The original idea of Pawn was thought up by JP as a single-player stealth shooter game. The title "Pawn" actually came from the original storyline. The main character was supposed to be a 'Pawn' in a large conspiracy which the player would uncover as the game progressed - hence the name. We decided to stick with the title and move the game in a new direction. We set out to make the game you now see before you.
