New Ranking System

As most of you are probably aware there has been ongoing troubles with Pawn's ranking system as of late. As a solution to this problem we are making a slight modification to the existing rank system. From now on anyone with a avatar of "n00b" will no longer be able to view their overall rank placement. However, as soon as you reach the next avatar of "Private" at score 1000 you will be ranked just like before. This new system will help to improve overall efficiency on Pawn.

Note: This change will not effect anyone over the score of 1000.

Doesn't that mean that once you attain the rank of private the ranking service works like normal? not that you get your rank back...

I was a bronze star...i know there were people way higher up than me who lost rank (some tri-stars i think) but cant somebody check the world rank. It still says i have the rank. Any still, nobody believes me that i had the rank...how sad. People cant even trust their eyes anymore.

No seriously. I don't edit my pictures. I have witness accounts to my stats. Every night i post them on my facebook (sometimes) without editing them. Just the pride of them being there makes me feel good, rather than editing them to mess with the way things are. (well...pride, top player in my school.)

Blank...you need to do something literally right now. (no offence...i respect you alot) You're just sitting there...some players actually got their rank the correct way, and all you can say to us is: "oops, sorry about that. Deal with it."

It felt horrible. I was laughed at. I was humiliated. No respect again. Oh joy. Back to the beginning for no reason whatsoever.

What would you do if you suddenly lost access to pawn? You lost all administrator rights, cant log in, lost stats, and cant make yourself an admin again. Nope. You had to do it the old way. Work. All because an error in the server messed up your stats and hundreds upon thousands of players. Seriously. Do something. Now.

I know how I felt when many players lost their stats. I did feel bad for them. I took every precaution not to make that happen to me. I read messages from people about not to play ladder games during the crash. I learned not to play when the stat tracking is down message appears. And what do i get for following the rules and being careful?

A slap in the face. Nothing more, and everything less. Think about this. It's been haunting me for days now. I cant sleep at night (trust me...not because of this, I get killed in my dreams) so all I can do is lie awake. Staring. Thinking. Planning.

Now what? Leave. Since theres no chance of getting it back, whats the point of doing it all over again. Just like the stock market. It crashes. Your fortune is gone. You're done. You never go back. Finished.

You think about whats right. Go ahead. Think. But just remember this as I finish my message. Thinking, is way different than action. Help all of us already. I know there are a few very high ranked players who would really enjoy getting their ranks back.

(the 87% statistic has to do with people at my school...if that caused any confusion...that stat is probably around 70% when i play other people)

I'm swearing that the picture is 100% real, and if it is found to be fake (sec. 1) then i will completely restart my account. I will also not play again, because the picture is REAL :-\

sec. 1: There must be definitive proof of use of an editing software that can change move these pictures around.

NOTE: I used a PSP background creator which i conveniently picked up today. I can swear, i did not edit this pictures' stats in any other way. I took too much pride to even think about editing it.

I have a picture that was autosaved on my computer after it crashed just after i lost my rank. I scrambled to find if i had taken a picture. Luckily, i still had a world rank window still open. It had all the stats :-D

hehe i share the same problem, i think many people are getting this error when they log in, it seems to me that it is random at best but never play when you get that message, just log out or change chat rooms. It has to be tied in with the new accounts not getting stats or some where along those lines.

I don't know if this is the right place, but the ranks are very wrong, like specialist in the real army is right after private, and the symbol for private is the one line sorta' up arrow thing, and sergeant is before lieutenant, and navy and army ranks are all mixed in together here, and corporal is missing, and all sorts of stuff. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that, but I think they should be in the right order, and if anyone cares, I could post the real army ranks and insignia in order.

I don't mean to ***** and stuff that it's all wrong, I just wanted to put it out there that some of the insignias are wrong and the order is wrong.

there are a lot of fake accounts/users who log on a couple of times and never get back on. the less noobs there are in the ranks the less it has to keep track of. the less room there is for error.

Your problem is that you registered wrong. You need to create your account by clicking on forums then register. I am guessing you registered in the play game screen.
