ok i was wonding which is better i have both of em but i like world war 2 then agian i like moderen warfare so i guess i will leave it at that but i wonder wat other peeps think so thats why i posted this

CoD4 is WAAAAAY better.
But the story mode thingy is to short.
I got the game this morning and beat it in like 7hours.

Now im already rank 13 in Call of duty4 Online.

Online play for free on the ps3... Largely superior(albeit shorter) story, better gameplay(red dot sight), and much more.

Compare CoD4 to CoD3 and you can see a HUGE improvement.

there is NO comparison whatsoever.

i haven't played cod4 but i have 3. 3 is pretty fun but too easy

Umm...first lets just say that the two games are nothing alike because CoD3 was dev'd by Treyarch, while CoD4 was dev'd by Infinity Ward, the better DEV team of the two.

Activision wants a new CoD game every year, but IW takes 2 years to make a good CoD game, so they hired Treyarch, a poop company to make the CoD game in between the 2 years...so that is why CoD3 sucked a donkeys arse and CoD4 is so amazing.
