Toxic Tag (First attempt at Smudge)

The smudging in PS 7.0 is pretty horribe. It's about as good as Gimp. Anyways, I tried a smudge tag and here it is.

I love the text. Its a really good smudge job, but i would try to blend your render in a tad bit more. Especially on the left side.

It just seems to stand there and the outer glow on it makes it stand out like a sore thumb.

What were your settings btw?

Sometimes your smudging looks like crap just because of your settings.

Try to get some good settings and se eif it improves.

Change your text style man, and the smudging is very good for PS 7.0. The bad thing is that there is no particular direction of the flow.

The left side has an alibi for lack of blending... there seems to be a lack of fog there.

Try looking at some smudge settings from people on PR and tweaking them.

That's how I came up with my smudge settings.

Yeah, Bean, I can't change my smudge settings. That's Photoshop CS2 and up. 7.0 doesn't allow me to put anything different in my smudging. Oh, and it was a render. I brought bigger renders in and smudged them for the fog. The left side is a lil empty though, I'll edit and post a new 1.

The font and style of the text gets a bit old, However It does fit very nicely with this signature.

Smudging is good as well.
