Based on the image, you can see that there is no way to prehold left, thus making the digs soley luck.

The creator of the maze was amazed that I had gotten thus far in 3 minutes, and then once I complained about the said digs, laughed at me, saying he could do it everytime.

I am asking you, any other mazer, do you think he could really do it everytime as he so said?

You can also take a look at the rest of this screen, which has a few other luck jumps.

Yes i will agree with you V that the digz is impossible, although i wont agree with you that there are other luck jumps in the maze, except for the one after the dig, thats it.

Tileset chosen looks like one of systems mazes, digs without being able to prehold left is luck, ive done them but usually 1 outa 15 or so, very annoying to see in a complex maze. The 2 falls to brokens are also luck however you can catch 85% of the time imho.

It wouldnt happen to be Kanes you were talking to would it? She doesnt quite understand the concept of luck in mazing. (being from holland she also doesnt understand english all that well so that could also explain it).

I just had a similar talk with Kanes about it that ended in alot of broken english and i think something was said about my momma.

I just want to take a moment to say that digs without prehold is not luck. It is just extrememly, extrememly difficult. I have done digs 4 times in a row before. No joke. It's not luck. If you think I'm lyin, I can host a game and show you, just pm me.

Meh, ive done ladder pk 4 times in a row too however you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks its a skill jump... I know it can be done as ive done it and ive seen you do it quickly before, however its my opinion that your lucky if you hit the buttons at the exact timing needed and much may be dependant on the type of keyboard you have. Its not luck like an ogm or a ladder pk, its luck like a ladder v is...its just extremely difficult to do properly (without prehold) and as such its labeled a luck jump.

Well, labeled as luck, but it's not luck. I can digs about 70-80%. Once I got used to doing without prehold again, since I haven't done that in a while.
