Halo 3 Beta -- Modders Enter the Maps...

Hello. As some of you might not know, i used to mod Halo PC maps. It got boring... xD
So I moved to "Modding" Halo 3 and the Public Beta.

Actually, This does not involve cheating in the Public Beta or Final. I have gotten my hands on the ripped map files from somebodies XBOX360 HDD. I dissasembeled them to take a look. xD

Note: This thread is constantly updated and maintained. :)

WARNING: Some of the content show could be reguarded as "Leaked" and are predicted to be in the Final version of Halo 3 in shelves in the US September 25, 2007.

That Orca is actually based on a prototype aircraft, using VTOL technology.

If you've ever played the original C&C, they had ORCA's on there. They took off just like helicopters.

And about the Map Editor, there going to have that on Halo 2 on the PC when it comes out sometime soon.

I knew before beta. Analyzing all the footage from alpha. You get customizable armour i knows. ^_^ thats awesomes...

One day i was playing halo CE and i downloaded a map with these cool little jets that were called hornets,except they didnt have roofs they sorta looked like flying motorcycles that shot rockets and machine gun bullets.

Dude, I worship Elite legends. Halo 3 shall be the ultimate gaming experience that will never be equaled, at least not until I am an adult. And not fully. I love the new armors rumored to be in multiplayer, and I pray that the Elites will be avaliable. The new weapons look amazing, and hopefully I can still hold my career as a sniper. Good gaming!

eleet, that isn't the official game cover ( I can't tell if you are sarcastic or not) and that is the "Halo 3 collecters edition" 1 for the game and one for bonus content. It was a mistake done by Microsoft. The actually say Game Disc 2, is for the Bonus content.

Comment on h3sniper: Actually if you look up at the screenies, you can see a tag called HUD_Elite.

Could this be the heads up display for elites? Maybe?

Well, since Arbiter appeared in Halo 3, he played a major role in the game/story. So I don't think they would leave him out like he is nothing in Halo 3. They will be giving information about the Eite model/ existance of it soon.

I have played a custom game in the Beta. It's all the same gametypes from Halo 3 but with a little more options (Gravity, speed, vehicles, etc.) And the only maps you are able to choose from is the three regular maps. High ground, Valhalla, Snow bound. The only new game type confirmed is VIP. (Nope, no infection or sandbox is playable, yet if it is real.)

I even got access to the vehicles not supposed to be available in the beta. (Scorpian tanks, wraiths) Nope, no brute chopper or any new vehicle. But the Brute Chopper is confirmed.

The Wraith has a driver seat, and a plasma turret operated by another person in it.

MAN Im a Halo nerd. :P

Most of the content that should be chooseable in a custom game isnt actually on the demo. Thats why you cant play with choppers, or stuff like that.

Yes, there is a Wikipedia dedicated to the Halo universe. Go here- http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Brute_Chopper -for a look at the new Halo 3 vehicle-- the Brute Chopper. Also, look while on Halopedia, search for "EVA Armor". Definintly one of my favorites. Also, look at the other armors present for Halo 3. Also, go onto google images and search for "Halo 3 Toronto Sun". It is the magazine that published the Halo 3 articles. If you find some of the pages about the Brute Chopper and the page on "7 Things You Didn't Know About Halo 3", than yo uare going to be one lucky gamer. Cheers.
