I absolutly agree. I am tired of noobs sucking to the moderators also that makes it worse. Im gonna tell the truth i was so addicted to pawn in beta and i was crazy about modship but i was thinking about not doing it because it will make it worse by sucking up.I was thinking about this issue yesterday and i was about to make the same comment as pooshonmyshoos. Im also tired of people quitting for nothing. Ok the game is boring sometimes but there is no use of quitting because there are other games online and also if you are that addicted then go outside it will make your self more experienced in life then just the computer!

NOTE: Everyone that plays the game wants to become a moderator don't hold it or spread it out because then they would know. Just act like a normal player follow the rules and just have fun with the game.

I agree with you all da way DisSleeper. I can't tell you how annoying it is to have noobz pester you with questions. I've never been asked how i become a mod, (cause im not one), but noobz always pester me with questions about advice on how to play. I think the punsihment for it is fair. I have been trying to tell people off and warn them when they do something bad in da chat (when there are no mods around and sometimes when they are around) but they just won't stop. I hope these new measures will effectively stop the constant pestering of those irritating noobz.

P.S. My rank may show it, but I'm not a noob. I lost my rank during the problem thing with the server.

On another note, I don't believe I mentioned this. If you happen to see anyone asking to be a mod or how to become a mod, direct them to this post or simply tell them this.

There is no real way to become a mod. Theres no test you can take, not application you can fill out, no rank you can reach. Becoming a mod means knowing the moderators and being helpful to the general communtiy and being selected by the administration.

I can understand why Moderators get angry at the countless amount of people that ask questions about Moderation.

However, these people are only curious about being/becoming a Moderator.

To prove this theory, I will agree that I have asked ABOUT Moderation, but never FOR Moderation.

NO, YOU WILL NOT BECOME A MOD. I'm sick and tired of having 5 people per minute asking:

"How u be mod?"
"Can I be a mod?"
"Make me mod plz"
"What do i do to b mod?"
"how can i become a mod?"

Well, first off, you can start by not ASKING THAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. You pretty much blow your chances right there. It's even a rule, don't ask to become a mod.

Here are some indicators that you probably wont become a mod, and therefore shouldn't ask.

-have been banned/has a ton of inf points.
-Are a noob rank.
-People (especially mods) don't know who you are.
-You have previously asked/demanded moderatorship.
-Do not go on forums/have no forum posts

Starting today, if ANYONE asks me how to become moderator or for me to give them moderator ship, (WHICH MODS CAN'T EVEN DO, BTW) I am going to give them one warning not to ask that question. If you persist in questioning me, you will get an inf for faliure to cooperate.

This is not an official rule. This does not apply to all mods. This applies to ME. This is what I am doing and if you don't like it, tough. Then maybe you should constantly ask the same thing over and over and over.

AND ON A LESS IMPORTANT NOTE:

I get alot of this:

"Dis, new mod?"
"Dis, r u a new mod?"
"wen did they make new mods?"
"Omg new mod"

AND JUST TO CLEAR THIS UP...

I was one of the first mods back in beta. Off the top of my head, I think only T-F, SK8URDEAD, Buck and maybe Neo came before me. I was later demodded due to inactivity. I recently came back and was remodded. (July maybe? August? Iunno...) So NO, I'm not really a new mod.

There is no max.

People can be promoted for almost anything.

Example: killerK, or seleucid whatever same thing, always swore and spammed with me. Thus, he got moderator. XD

Another example, I got permied at least 4 times, and evaded twice but I still got moderator.

Basically, anybody can become a moderator.
