Well there hasn't been a lot of map makers recantly and no one tells me what they think of my maps so I'm woried that the art of map making is dead or not.

I make maps pretty often, but no one else ever seems to interested.

I believe I speak for all map makers when I say that we are running out of ideas.

New modes, tiles, etc. need to be made. I haven't made any maps recently, because it is getting repetitive. Doing the same bs over and over again.

Yawn.

Meh.

In BETA, you could chuck up any old crap and it'd get servered.

The only problem is now you guys are expecting us to do something with nothing. We got nothing. We need new gamemodes, tiles, ideas, anything.

Also, there are less and less veteran map makers. Most of our best map makers come from BETA.

Not really. But I do kinda agree with J90. Its hard to get ideas now if you made more than 50 maps. But I tend to fiddle around with some tiles in the Map Editor and get some sort of map:\

No not really, If the map maker contest continues then it may encourage users to become map makers.

Well I am trying to make maps but I'm not getting replyes about my map. Yea I agree with most of you about that tyle thing and yea they need anouther set.

At least I know there are still map makers here, thanks guys...

Map making has not died.

The people that are running out of ideas, have not tried to make create new ideas.

I for one have yet to run out of ideas for a map, and doubt that I ever will.

I will be posting some new maps soon.

If you look in the map making section theres at least 1 new thread a day with a new map idea...... And recently SharpY made a map which was put onto the pawn server by blank.

So no.... Map making has not died.
