I've been getting several reports of rank loss over the past few days and I want to address this issue publicly. First off I am not entirely sure what caused the recent rank loss, but I do believe it to be linked to the recent database problems we have been having. So, hopefully we've seen the last of it because of the server upgrade done last Friday. Second, anyone who has been unfortunate enough to lose their rank will not be getting it back. I do apologize to anyone who has their rank, but there is nothing we can do about it.

On a lighter note, the server seems to be operating much more efficiently since Friday. Happy gaming everyone.

Just for the record, the resion no one can get there ranks back is there are no database logs. Without logs, there is no prof you ever had [insert X kills/deaths/etc]. And screen shots are not prof, they are easily edited.

hey :) i know uv probably got enough probalmes lately as it is but it liek to imform you that theres something wrong with my accounts. since the ranking problems my HOTDOG77 account has had problems. it got its rank back but no matter how many kills,deaths,mvps or snay stats i get while playing games it doesnt count towards my stats. iv played so many games but when i log otu and in and press /stats it stays the same as it was before we had the rankage problems. so i cant rank or get any kills.
my other mtoblem is with my other account metalllca (not metallica). its a new account and i made it during the rankage problems and didnt veen play a game while the problems went on. now iv played heaps of games with it and it too doesnt counta any stats no matetr hwop mcuh i try and when i type in /stats on the account it says "no stats found for metalllca". and when i go to world rank and type in metalllca it just shows: Rank: Name: Score: Kills: Deaths: MVP: K/D: Avatar: it doesnt say metalllca's stats or anyting and not even 0 kills or deaths or k/d thats all that comes up. no even an avatar comes up so. it almost sems s if the account doesnt exist but i can go onto it and play on it jsut nothin gets recorded just liek my HOTDOG77 account. please help me someone or send me an email back so we can fix it. spory for all the writing btu it was neccessary so please help me thank you HOTDOG77

It's a shame for those who lost their ranks, although on a brighter note: it gives you NOW the chance to gain back your ranks, and maybe challenge your friends to see who can rank up first, so in some cases, I wish my stats had reset.

Perhaps you should be thankful that you diden't lose your accounts permanently (Imagine that scenario) *Gasps* :O

1.You can easily use Micro Soft Paint to edit a screen shot of your stats, or copy and paste someone elses rank =|
2.So far people I know who lost thier rank...

Regarding the ranking system, may I ask how or what needs to be done to get tracked? I've been playing "Pawngame" as a guest for many months now, and just like many others, I am sincerely liking this game and created an account about a month ago or so. Since then, as many of pawn players have realized, I am not getting tracked. Yes, it is understandable that there must have been some technical problems, but long as a month? Or may I ask, is it my fault, which involves some kind of activation to get tracked? Help would be very appreciated, thank you for taking your time.

IF you were really as good as when you ended playn the game and got your stats erased... just look at it this way, now you can raise your kd much higher and easier. Because now you don't have the kds from when you were playing as a noob to load you down. Second off they have fixed the problem now. Okay a few peoples accounts got reset and I'd probably be upset too if mine did, but oh well it's a FREE GAME. It'd be completely different if we were payin every month for this or something. But since they fixed the server now it's fixed... I mean it's better than the server doin it again in like 3 months when your scores are even higher right?¿ So everybody just relaxe and have some fun, that's what this place is all about anyways.

I agree. My stats were also reset, but rank isn't a big deal to me.

Besides, it's fun because I can kill someone with a high rank and say "haha, you just got pwned by a nub" :D

I've made two accounts after stats went under construction and neither of their stats work. I created this account before stats went under construction and its stats still work, even though they were reset.
Here's my theory:
Points gained in ranked matches still count towards the stats of accounts created before stats went under construction.
Accounts created after this event cannot gain points, at least for the time being.

As I have stated earlier, I created an account a month ago, and I am able to log in whenever, but the problem is that the message stated in my previous posts keeps on popping up.

I get this message sometimes as well, but I disregard it because my stats still function normally after receiving the message.

Okay guys, I read this thread and i'm angry. All of you shup you you CAN'T get you rank back stop demanding! It's impossible! Don't you think Blank would give you all back your ranks if he could?! Yes Blank isn't heartless he would. But all your scores are not on record and any screens of your score can easily be edited. (however a propertys screen shot to go along with it may work to prove if it had been edited at all.... I'll look in to this... and get back to you.)
