I've been getting several reports of rank loss over the past few days and I want to address this issue publicly. First off I am not entirely sure what caused the recent rank loss, but I do believe it to be linked to the recent database problems we have been having. So, hopefully we've seen the last of it because of the server upgrade done last Friday. Second, anyone who has been unfortunate enough to lose their rank will not be getting it back. I do apologize to anyone who has their rank, but there is nothing we can do about it.

On a lighter note, the server seems to be operating much more efficiently since Friday. Happy gaming everyone.

Just for the record, the resion no one can get there ranks back is there are no database logs. Without logs, there is no prof you ever had [insert X kills/deaths/etc]. And screen shots are not prof, they are easily edited.
If you get 15 people to verify your rank can you get it back?

So what do i do? I still have my rank position, and my forum stats picture, but still nobody will believe that i'm the rank!

If i have people that can prove i was that rank, and the picture is correct with nothing changed, does that make a difference?

But one question i have is that i clearly had 60000 points, and a 1.52 K/D ratio. Cant they just reset it so i have 60000 points? I have pictures of my kills, but i dont care what they set my points to...as long as it may be possible. Cant other people see that im still rank 3029 and am a staff sergeant?

I have other people who say this too...they all know what my rank was, they all have pictures of my kills and deaths, and they say they are un-edited. They swear, that if they are lying that they would be killed on spot. They are still alive. Fake? Far from it.
If i have people who can confirm i had this many kills...doesn't that mean it s the truth!? (2 are people who i don't personally know...so i cant possibly talk to them and tell them my kill count)

u say u can do nothing:
1.) no reson that YOU would be able to as a mod, but it is intierly reasonable for an admin to be able to restore ranks upon request.
2.) i have MANY (7) videos of myself as a tri-star ranking, i belive that is complete proof that i was once a tristar,and i am MORE THAN WILLING to give them to you (and the fact that if you look at your left, you will see my rank as a grey tri-star) ...so is it a matter of effort, time, or is it COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE for ranks to be returned?
you also say there are no data logs, but why not return a users lost rank to their lowest possible score. Example: 440,000 points and nothing more . is this really totally un-reasonable??

First off I am not entirely sure what caused the recent rank loss, but I do believe it to be linked to the recent database problems we have been having. Just for the record, the resion no one can get there ranks back is there are no database logs. Without logs, there is no prof you ever had [insert X kills/deaths/etc]. And screen shots are not prof, they are easily edited.

Well as you can see. If you ever check the forums......The server has came back up. You just have to go to forums and register not on the login screen. Its bullcrap. Get an old emailaddress and register. It will work. :) Thank you
