You activate your account by going to the email you registered, But idk how you post because you have to activate your account before posting because you can't post without activating your account. So i guess it's activated so now about the ranks, So you log in to the game lobby and then look left then in the list of games right above it, it has signs that has a C and a Ladder so C=Custom=Play for fun.
Ladder=Earn points. So click the ladder one and then play in those so you can earn points and gain ranks :D
