a basic halo practice sig

EDIT:i just realized, something doesnt look right about my sig, i don't know what but it looks completely different than it did in gimp :/
i was thinking ' holy lord i usck at gfx' so my second thought was 'omg, a tutorial!' so i found soem tutorials and decided to just google search for halo renders and make my own thing by myself. i used tuts because i am a nub at gfx and idn't even know how to add a border :/ lol. well heres my finished product(maybe, might add soemthing later if i can think of any good ideas) really just basic used soem grunge brushes in backround and lightning effect brushes in corner meshed alltogether kinda not good quality but, just want to know people opnians for my secondd sig ever, be as harsh as you please, won't hurt me at all.(cuz i know i suck)

Its alright i dont really like the browny colour. Still a good sig.

Not bad, not work on colouring :)
Sepia is a nice effect but can get old.
Also don't like the blurred text.
