Step 1. Go to the Control Panel.
Step 2. Click on Performance Information and Tools.
Step 3. Click on Adjust Visual Effects (It's on the side).
Step 4. Check Adjust for Best Performance.
Now your computer should be faster, despite the old look. And if you don't like it, you can always check Adjust for Best Appearance or just Customize it how you want.

And to change it back
1.Control Pannel
2.System
3.Advanced
4.Performance>Settings
5.Check "Best performance" or "Let Windows Choose..."
Just in case you don't like it
(Knux I did this because I had problems looking for the Visual Effects Window)

For Windows XP

4. When you see Performance (Its on top) click on Settings
5. Click "Adjust for best performance"
Anyways this crap SUCKS,it makes your comp be like a Windows 95
