I know we aren't supposed to suggest grenades, but I had thought about things like smoke and flash grenades, so why not make a smoke and flash grenade launcher? Like the M-29, but no damage is done. It simply blinds the player for 1.5 seconds, and has only one "bullet". That way, you cannot keep blinding the player over and over again, unless you stand right by ammo boxes and keep firing, so the weapon should also take, 5-10 seconds to reload. A long time, yes, but very fair for that situation.

I guess that would work as a blinder\lag weapon :p. Lol I would lag the crap out of my enemy.

yea,how would this blinding work????
cos if it takes up the full screen, then some n00b would just camp somewhere and "blind" everyone like the nub that he is¬¬

No, we dont need that crap.
It wouldn't have to lag...
Take the smrc explosion and when that happens the people in the room have los activate so that they cannot see anyone for a period of time.

You have to aim it, it won't blind the whole area, but just the whole screen of the player who got shot with it. Of course, other players may get affected, but not as much, depending on their distance from the flash. Everyone would see something different. So, in effect, this should not be a close range weapon, and it will effect both teams, including the player who launched it, if he/she was close enough.

sounds pretty neat, the entire screen would turn white for a second for one player and the others around him wouldn't notice it =o

I think we should have grenade launchers so you would have to aim :p.

Well it depends on where you are looking. If you look away the flashbang would have no effect but if you are within a close distance and are still looking away it should have a minor/moderate effect. You also have to put in the factor of cover.
(Flashbangs r fun to storm a room!)

does sound cool, but would increase lag, and campers, before anything, we need capture the flag...

It is simple, when it shoots, it will be like the person is surrounded by boxes. he will not be able to see anything at all. So it will give the person an easy headshot.
Nice idea =D

that's what I mean - the same basis as the M-29 firing.

I have been flashed bya flashbang before, and it is NOTHING like these video games you play. When you go get flashed, your vision turns bleekly white, but all you see is the area you were looking at for about 7 seconds. It's like as if you took a picture, but you can stil feel your hands move and stuff. I moved my hand in front of my face and didn't see it until like 3 seconds after. It gives you a hell of a headache too.
So honestly, your description to the effect of a flashbang is bull, and flashbangs in this game would be a bit idiotic.

I think smoke gernades would be cool, but flash gernades would be lag to much. A launcher would be a little unorthadox

Yes, these grenades would go to maybe the - or + buttons. A flashbang would whiten the screen and give you a black and white picture of what you just saw and make a noise that blocks out gunfire. Looking the other way keeps away the blinding, and being on another screen turns off both effects. A smoke grenade would just cause a small area to be invisible and make it impossible to see through, like a wall you can walk through.

I like that one, that way its fair for everyone, and the shooter will still be able to shoot because they [hopefully] memorized where the people are.
I like it but i highly doubt it will work, blank is teh laz33.
jk :D
