Mod Abuse has become annoying

Not talking about regular daily flaming a mod, talking about insulting a Mod on how they do their job. Talking about how people log in get kicked then re-log in and say:
Zomg that was a horrible reason to kick me, you abuse your powers. i hate you with a bloody pasion. you wanker.
I know that i don't understand why you kicked me but I do know that you know nothing of what you just kicked me for. Because if have never read the rules there should be none to be followed. Getting kicked from a Mod such as yourself has lowered my I.Q. and my SeaMan count.
If you do this you will be mostly kicked for Mod Abuse (Average). Always Mod Abuse, average will just be questionable depending on mod and situation that was created. Because this has became excessive for users/b00bs to do, Jake has to decided to start kicking for it. Not going to be teh only one, and definitely did not start this. All mods know not to abuse kicks, powers, give random infs, ban for no raisin(yes raisin, arn't they delicious?), or plain out not use responsibilities right. Not going to ask for sympathy, or grow a soul. Only conscious factor you will see out of Jake is randomly making you laugh and making this warning to those who don't understand if you insult a moderator's job work ethic you are insulting him/sah(her). Otherwise there will be a Symphony Of
Destruction(Megadeth).

When you comment on someone and they find it offensive, it is an insult. Insulting over teh internet is flaming. Flaming a mod is Mod Abuse. Mod Abuse is punishable. Repeated punishments(infs) will get you banned. And yes Jake had to make Mod Abuse yellow every single time. What did you expect? Had to make it noticably serious enough that is specific that it has become as annoying as teh color yellow.

This is not adding a rule, this is just teaching about a rule that will be enforced more strictly, because people refuse to listen to authoritah(authority). Bottle up your hate feelings towards mods, don't express them on pawngame. Bottling up rage will cause post mattic stress, use it inside pawngame teh game, not teh lobby with words. Your hate can be fueled for points to rank up. Remember, Mods do not care for your hate, teh Mods care about how you follow teh rules. Noone is singled out to be special. Not even modlets.

Kickbot I guess was suggested by Omni, Neo1211 actually created it. It was 100% in working order, except for a bug that because since Pawn lagged so badly and it kicked so many people for swearing, it made the bot lag and kick people twice. I still have the script and it is still in the moderator section.

It was so efficient it was inefficient.

Frankly, I've never seen a mod say anything pleasant at all, so all these new people come in and start trying to talk to everybody who is high on the user list not realizing that those people don't really want to talk to them and some how the word 'noob' is thrown out there and then a pissing contest ensues and they get kicked and come back and start complaining and they get kicked again...

Well since half the players on pawn are below the age of 13 I’m not surprised there is “mod abuse”, although the fact that I have seen some kicks over constructive criticism angers me. There is a difference between someone telling you how to do your job and someone who has had more experience as a mod on different games just criticizing you on what you’re doing. Although I can see where you’re coming from Jake and I sympathize, I have seen where someone gets kicked for breaking a rule in a blatant manner then them come back in wondering why they got kicked. You completely ignore them and then “n00b” gets thrown in there starting “mod abuse” which sprouts and argument etc.. Although my post is about mods kicking over constructive criticism, part of becoming a mod is taking some criticism along the way and if you can’t do that then maybe you need to GROW UP and hand your “mod powers” to someone more mature. I myself have been a forum mod and a chat moderator on several IRC chat rooms and know exactly what you mean, but just give some people a chance to speak out.

on the second note: maybe the server can identify certian word combos to prevent bad things like the combonation of words "***" and "hole" they dont appear in * form unless they are together with no space, and that the server can be able to identify certain words where people will say profanity in a different form like say the prvockitive form of a homosexual (3 letter form)and be able to identify the word "gey" (hope I dont get kicked for this)

Moderator abuse has become a very serious issue in Pawn at the moment, there is nothing worse than a Moderator being shouted or sworn at when all he/she(Sah) is trying to do is their duty/job, I think Moderators should start to kick people for the slightest of abuse (Including the word n00b being thrown at a Moderator).

I believe that all the Moderators do a dang good job.
Infact YOU know you do.

also ppl complain when mods are messing with their member friends and kick for fun (lol) and then the members come back and say things like lol, but people think that mods are abusing their powers. When did blank say "you cant have fun with your member friends if youre a mod"?

I BELIEVE THAT THE ONLY WAY TO SETTLE THIS IS TO HAVE A JUDGE PANEL.

I nominate we give mods all the power, and can ban for anything they feel like. if the person banned feels it is unfair, they should take it up with the panel of judges, if the judges vote "unfair" the person gets the ban removed, if the judges vote "fair" the ban stays, and the person can never have another appeal, and if attempted, the sentence is lengthened. This way, a team of people that aren't so important get abused instead :) and the moderator can ban all they want, and never be punished :)
