Please give me some feedback on my maps... thanks

EDIT: I have updated my maps! The originals are still below if you would like to look though...

As you can see, I have added a whopping 3 more spawn points to each team, that way, most of the fighting doesnt occur around the planes and the base of the towers.

Not much has changed here, I just made the artifact a little harder to hit by adding an X pattern of blocks around it.

Here I have lowered the two floating castles in the center and changed how the boxes are arranged. I also added a spawn underground for each team.

And presenting my newest map, Warehouse War! It's not exactly what you would call original, but I have played it myself and I think it's pretty fun!

I call this one September, 11 for obvious reasons. I made this map after seeing many other maps with themes like World War II and Vietnam. I, myself love this map. Its really fun because you can have tower-to-tower combat and you can easily trasfer between floors by jumping out of windows and falling back through another one.

Hmm... not much to say except that it is my first assault map.

My first "big" map. I just had an itch to make a 3x3 map thats all.

The twin towers one is really good! They won't have musch trouble finding guys to kill since they spawn in a way so they can easily get to each other. Is the second one an assault map? For the third, I think you should scratch out the bottom row.

Really wish you would have gave them names...D: Anyway...

First one
This one has a lot of potential. It's designed well, you just may want to pay attention to where you have the screen switches (where each screen ends) because it looks like some of those transitions are in awkward spots. Like, the two towers, their "outward sides." You see how you have it where the outward walls are in a different screen than the tower itself? And how those ladders are right there? Well, if you're on those ladders and hold the arrow key toward the wall, you'll appear in the opposite screen. That problably wasn't explain well, but just try it, you'll see what I mean.

Also it could probably use more Spawn Points in various parts of the map. I like how you made them drop from helicopters, but have only one spawn point would make it more common for people to merge to one spot of the map. If you had them in various spots around the map, they'd be forced to explore other parts of the map (because they start out there) and so everyone isn't all in one screen.

Second
This one's really good. My only suggestion is to make the artifact a little harder to get to. I know that it would be really hard for the red team to even get there, but anytime they do they would almost instantly destroy it because it's so out in the open (so basically a single charge could have the artifact destroyed).

Third
This one is my favorite of the one's you've made. It's nice and original.

The only problem with this one is the screen placement in the center screen. Just get on top of one of the team's "boxes" and start jumping. It should be apparent what the problem is. It's not a serious problem, just a minor annoyance.

9/10.


And yeah, just in case you were wondering, I actually enjoy giving tips on maps. I'm not the best Map Maker, but I can see problems in other people's maps pretty easily.

hey guys! thanks so far for all the tips... im sorry that my message was so short and to the point. I just made it real quick before i went to work... anyway, the maps do have names the first one being, you guessed it, September 11. The second one is called Tower Defender and the last is currently Castle Smoosher [I dont like that name... im thinking more like Castle Conquest...] but aside from names, i have put some thought into my maps and am thinking about lowering the "team boxes" in castle smoosher and putting in another spawn or two in September 11. Thanks again for all you guys help!

Next time I can sit down I gotta make some neat maps...
Oh yeah anyway those are neat but I would recommend coloring the background of the 3rd one so it doesnt hurt my eyes, its a really hard white if you know what I mean.

nah, that one's background is the space/night scene, so when you actually play the map, its dark.

Quick draw sucks...
Lightsout is good...

I dont like your maps you made there much, cuase im nit picky about screen hoping and ladders touching and random open space not beings usd (Corners off towers in one map)
and some just dont appeal to me =|

Id also like Cold Front better if you filled in that one camping place, then it would be really good >.>
