Hello all! Even though i'm a newb, I can still kill you all out there so watch your mouth! If you don't really like the action and killing of Pawn, then try to make your own map and impress the people! There are in my opinion, 4 types of maps a Pawner Craftsman can create. The first is the very basic level.
~Basic Levels~
On basic levels, you just make a level that people can fight in such as "Castle Wars" created by a mod. You can also name your level to make it sound catchy. There are many different types of basic levels.
1x1: These levels are best suited for fast paced action or for 1 on 1s.
1x2, 1x3: These are flat levels that a person can also play for fast action. For 1x2, two teams can charge into each other's bases while on 1x3, the players can have a battlefield in the center, provided how you make your map.
2x2, 2x3: These levels are usually big and the best choice for an intermediate carpenter. Players can move around freely and the fight is much more mixed because of the room.
3x3: These are full blown rooms which are the absolute hardest to design. You need alot of time to add in blocks and to make sure the field is suited for a fight. Also, you need to test alot about each room because there are so many.
3x1, 3x2: These rooms are towers that go up into the sky. These in my opinion, are the most fun to play in. The defending team of the tower can jump down from a cliff and attack the attackers on ground level.
~Assault~
These maps are variable due to the type of level. Most recomended, a flat level. 1x3 for beginners, 2x3 for intermediates and 3x3 for experts. This type of battle is based on attacking an artifact, or a rod in a blue box. These maps are recomended for intermediates and experts because they are tricky to make and the design might not be fit for an assault or defence.
~Mazes~
These maps are the most fun and trickiest. Alot of people enjoy playing mazes, which are maps that people have to use skills and certain tricks to beat and attack the artifact with. People usually host these with 99999 life so a war won't break out, but some people will host it with 100- so they can fight for the finish. For more info on these tricks, please look at the mazing guide. I highly suggest ONLY and ONLY experts or experienced carpenters to make these because they are long and sometimes frustrating.
~Hotels~
Hotels are coming back!! Anyone of carpenting skill can make these levels. You MUST put on 999999 HP or make it one team only. These hotels are very fun to play and stay in. each space might be a new room, gaming room or bathroom! These are extremly fun to make. Also, a helpful tip, try looking at carpenting boxes that might look like household materials.
~A Carpenters Dream!~
Everyones dream is for their personal level to be added as an official pawn map for EVERYONE to play with! So work hard and work for the gold~
~Extra Help~
