This game is called Chaos Faction (http://www.addictinggames.com/chaosfaction.html), here are the controls.

Left/Right arrow to move
Up arrow to jump
Down arrow for shield
Z, X for attacks
Spacebar to pause

Please note that you can unlock new characters/levels/weapons in Campaign mode, also note that you cannot win without weapons!

It took me 52 minutes to beat campaign mode and to unlock all characters, how fast can you go?

actually i once joined there forums they did talk about creating one that was online about a year ago im not quite sure what happened to the idea though......
