Update on the GIMP Pen tool.

Well I think it was.....FCJ Blacknight and me? trying to invent the pen tool effect on GIMP. and I think i got it

here is so far what we know to do

Design path, Stroke, gaussain blur, then color your way.


Here is my new way I found out to be quite amazing!


Design path, stroke Gaussain Blur, the use the colorize tool! and bingo! the edges glow!

everyone who wants to try please post results of what you have


(note the Design Path tools icon is the old fashioned ink pen all you do is move it around and when you have you spot selected just go back to the tools menuand his stroke path)


I'm also gonna try Alpha to selection ina bit so how it comes out



update: you cannot make two layers containing glow effect it doesnt work. to get another glow effect, make new layer, make your pen path, stroke, gaussain blur, then go the layer layer and alpha to selection. then merge layer down, grow by 1px then colorize. works perfectly

Thanks Disab. I tried PS, it was too ghetto to me, it's suppose to be professional but it isnt really user friendly in my opnion

Once u get the hang of it..its really easy.. but once u make an awsome sig.. ppl expect better eveytime..lol..

I like my sigs better in ps then in gimp...so0oo0 i use ps..

but gimp was fun.. is the new one better?

I have both ps and gimp. Back in the day when i used to do pixel stretches i used gimp, but thats it i only us ps now.
