Okay I know it's not finished its ugly blah bleah, i got lazy =D and ran out of ideas. I used 2 C4D's also I tihnk I made the render ownage. bonus points if you can get what i did on the render!
NOTE: all i need to know is if I have the C4D thing down, dont rate my sig tell me something about the C4Ds
the c4d's look bad... set them to screen, or lighten and put them over the render and erase the parts you dont like.

they are in screen.
lower the ocpacity... its too bright... and noticable... duplicate your render and on the bottom one motion blur it at an angle of 0 with 15 px then select the top render, and select it, select the inverse, feather about 3 px and press delete 2-5 times.

render is perfect, I have two of them, one is below the other, the bigger one is Glass tiled to give it a disperesed effect. basically what your trying to get my to do already.I'll try the opacity of the C4D
edit: tried it, it looks a little better now, to lazy to upload another though.

you have to set the layer to color dodge or lighten...
dont just paste it in there...
