That's not Grunge >.< Looks nothing like a grunge siggy. I like it though, the white part looks like he's breathing when it's cold out which is his element. It's much better than ur past work, 9/10 :) Just need to work on text still.

you need photoshop or gimp for custom brushes
http://scully7491.deviantart.com/art/Typographic-Grunge-Brushes-30565921
one of my current favorite grunge sets
and if you get photoshop CS2 you should google 22pixels flock
its a program you install ONCE and you get about 1000 brushes installed as presets and 100 or so good fonts installed to your font directory

ADAM no one cares if you used a lot of effects. It has to look like you used a lot of effects and look good. That looks nothing like a grunge sig at all! 5/10

Hit the center of the nail, first try. Exactly what I was going to say. Once I was working on a signature, and I found this effect that made everything blue. So if I post a 450x150 piece of blue, I had tons of effects?

Damn you all! Do you not understand the "?" on my title?
I WAS ASKING IF IT WAS ANYWHERE CLOSE TO ONE!
And if you want, I'll give you a screenshot of what I did, to prove the complexity.
blondie

If you need screenshots to prove complexity, it's not complex.
And if you understand it, but no one else does, then why title it as such.
AdamRainey

What?
I was asking if it was anything close to grunge, since I took the tutorial, but didn't know where to get grunge brushes, so I did without.

And if it's complex, but no one can tell it is, it's probably TOO complex for them to comprehend.

quit telling yourself that is complex, IT ISNT! god i've seen like 40 something layered sigs and there considered simple!
hhhhhhholmes
11-04-2007, 07:14 PM
Most of my sigs have at least 50-70 layers >.< Don't tell me what complex and not complex is gosh darnet!!!
(not really angry, just playin my role here, lolz)

50-70? I'd lose patience.

11-04-2007, 09:38 PM
Once u get into it, just kinda lose track of time until ur done.
Also, why do u have lyrics to the song "Shoot to thrill" by AC/DC in ur sig?
blondie
11-04-2007, 10:49 PM
I do lose track of the time, but I never have so many layers.
And I always have a song in my signature, I change it from time to time. and AC/DC pwns.

The vocals are too gaudy. It makes me cringe, like nails on a chalkboard.
Good stuff, though.

AdamRainey
11-05-2007, 09:37 PM
Very much. But, yeah. Why 50-70 layers? I mean, all that time and it turns out as crap? Hah. What a waste.

If you look at holmes sigs. They are pretty much the ownage. I mean just look at his new guitar one. Don't you agree that is the most ownage you gonna get from him?
blondie
11-06-2007, 12:34 AM
AC/DC pwns some of the stuff that you listen to, but I don't understand a word of it, kay?

11-06-2007, 05:57 PM

AdamRainey
11-06-2007, 06:02 PM
Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm not saying they are not good, by all means, they are very good, I just mean for all that time, I think it should look more ownage.
hhhhhhholmes
11-06-2007, 06:06 PM
Doesn't take a lot of time, 10-20 minutes for a sig like that. Just a lot of layers...
