Why is PAWN down so much lately?
Big update, or the hackers, what?
I can't tell you anymore than Blank knows, and right now him and his web team are still trying to determine the cause of the error, right now, it's presence is unknown.

Mainly because the VB bulletines sucks!! we upgraded the forums..and when VB made it they had a huge error....somewhere so its causing bugs so yea..:| bug, but web team can't find it....i bet vb can't find it either...probably crappy coding or something

VB doesn't suck that bad, it's actually a really nice forum place but.... like EVERYTHING games ect. it has a downfall and this one is a hard to find bug
Mainly because the VB bulletines sucks!! we upgraded the forums..and when VB made it they had a huge error....somewhere so its causing bugs so yea..:| bug, but web team can't find it....i bet vb can't find it either...probably crappy coding or something
A forum website that im a moderator of runs off of VB Bulletins and it runs perfectly fine...and when that site crashes its not down for more then like an hour before its fixed.
We could always degrade to the old VB. It wouldn't make much of a difference since blank doesnt use the forums to max. The only thing different about this forum then phpbb is the skin is better, world rank, and hyper links.... and a bunch of other things. But blank doesn't use VB to the max. Blank uses like 10% of what VB Current Version can do, and the older versions can do just as much.so i see no reason on why we can't dehance ourself

Well if we downgrade would we get the world rank and map editor back?
lol, downgrading to php gets rid of the world rank, it gets rid of seeing your stats on the forum, it gets rid of bans and infractions linking from the game to the forum, it gets rid of mods linknig to the game and the forum, thus blank would have to add the function he used to have to moderate people....
PHP is terrible, not to mention it has zero security, someone could hijack an admins account in no time flat...
Blank isn't even sure the probled is with vB, more likely, it's a problem with the database on this site, and it somehow not functioning properly. Let Blank deal with it, it's going to take some time to figure out what exactly is going on.

That's because I decided not to ruin the forum for a good game, there's a hole that lets you into admin cp, you can change passwords from there, make yourself admin, ect. Trust me, php is the worst forum out there.

but we didnt have such severe hackers back in beta. If they can work a health and autokil into the game, you are sure that opening up an admin account under php would be simple dont you think?
edit: im all for the downgrade of VB but not to php...not that far
I said the moment the glitch happened to downgrade versions, but I fear the problem may be worse than that so we'll just let Blank and his web to do their jobs for now. :)
