My local area connection seems to be screwing up. I can play PAWN fine, but every once in a while theres a little bubble that pops up in the bottom right hand corner of my screen that says:
"Local Area Connection:
A network Cable is unplugged"

Well i checked, and theres nothing unplugged in the back of my computer, my modem is all checked out and stuff... You guys got any ideas on whats making me lag out?

That happens to me sometimes, do you have wireless internet? Right now it only says that when I put my mose over it. Try going fullscreen so it won't pop up.

He can't be running wireless, he wouldn't be getting that error message if he did....

What internet do you have? ie. DSL, Cable, Dial-up...

ps, if a mod can move this to the help section, that would be great.

Need a bit more information please.

Alright very likely your wireless adapter may be slowing down your computer, do you experience a laggy connection when you play xbox online?

Try disconnecting the router and plug your internet directly to the comp. You may just want to do that unless you're playing xbox.

If that doesn't help you let me know, I know a few other possibilities.

Ok, well when i do play on xbox, the connection is fine. Normally my computer connection is okay too, but this lag has been happening just recently. It started within the last two weeks. Ive had xbox live for 2 years now.

Alright, make sure when you log in to pawn, that you pick two ads with very little movement, and that should help.

I had that same problem too, but mine said:

"Local Network Connection"
Network connection: Excellent

I have a wireless, so, I went to pawn and I saw it didnt connect, so I hope mine is fix so as yours. Plus, try to find how to solve the problem in:

http://www.microsoft.com

There's alot of things there to help you.

Re-seating / re-wiring your connection might help.
