Banned List

Ok i have noticed that there are a few people that are banned, and i know that some "bannings" last a month or so.

I would like to see a list of all the people who got banned, when the got banned, why the got banned, and when they will be able to get back on.

i know this would be alot of work for you guys but i bet there are some people who would appriciate this.

What is this like the wall of shame? And so many hundreds of players have been banned that putting it all on a list will take weeks. Why dont you limit it to permanent bans.

It could be a wall of shame like cooltim said; it could also be a way to see if someone you know has stopped playing and got banned. You can also use it to find out if someone was breaking the rules and u reported it to see if you were effective in helping the mods and admins. it would be pretty hard to do though.

It would be a waste of time. People get banned because they were hacking, spamming, etc... anyways their not banned forever.

It is nice for rule breakers to learn their lesson but it's time-consuming.

I say yes for this one.

Making a list consisting of all the bans would be fairly easy, since such a list already exists in the Moderator Control Panel. It wouldn't be too hard to have such a list available to the open public. But the real question is why? Why do we need a list? Sure it's possible, but what practical purpose would it serve?

Sorry for the bit of flame here, but did you even read my post? I just said that the list is already available and updated in the Moderator CP and would be easily transferable, so it wouldn't be a problem at all.

ok i got banned for somthin stupid this guy CD was spamming his u-tube vid and i told him to stfu cause he was spamming and every 1 h8s spammers and a got banned 5days sweraing major...then i made a new acc to kill the bann time lol

Some mods put stupid things when they ban someone, and they usually do it because the person is annoying them to that level (GREB <_<) And we wouldn't let you see the ban list because there are over 100s of people on it.

Look, this is a suggestion topic, not a ban appeal forum (Which doesn't exist anymore.). If you have something important to say pertaining to the topic then say it, don't complain about a ban that has already been lifted.

And Sketchz, in my opinion, banning someone for a stupid reason isn't right. If someone annoys you moderators, you should handle them reasonably. I believe that it is unreasonable and un-moderatorlike to ban someone or kick them for a stupid reason like "lol i hate you" or something.

If I were to do that on another game I'm an admin on I would be demoted for abuse. Such jokes have been pulled like you guys do right now on the server/game I'm an admin on and they were demoted almost instantly for abuse.

I'm just speaking my opinion here, freedom of speech, eh? Just my thoughts.

well magnetic, i agree totally with the comment sketchz gave, although yes that somewhat abuse of power, but the fact remains that there are too many noobs these days. And personally if greb were to ban someone Id trust him since he was practically one the few first people to get on pawn

About the ban list, like sketchz said, its like 500 people. yes a lot of people might want to see that, but what rly is the use.

Yeah, I asked the same question (What is the use).

But continuing with the statement made about Greb, who cares if he's been here longer? It's about what's right and what's wrong. If he does it for a joke every once and a while then I see that as OK, but it's becoming more and more frequent that moderators are kicking people for illegitimate reasons. But again, this is just my point of view on the subject.
