Official GoW2 or Halo3 Debate

I personally want to get Gears of War 2 just because the first one kicked so much azz...

Halo 3 so far is going to be the biggest game release on record...in the lifetime of videogames.

Yeah, there is no possible way that halo 3 would NOT beat gears 2 out. I for one am buying them both, but i will have much more fun playing halo. Im a lot better at it that gears anyway hah.

I like both. But I think that halo 3 will blow gears away. I already pre-ordered my copy of it, but Im not planning on pre-ordering GoW2.

It's hard to say since not much information has been released about Gears of War 2, but it's a safe bet Halo 3 will outsell Gears of War 2. However, quality>quantity.

They have 5 weapons in Gears.


In Halo 3 they have like 20. AND you can dual wield some of them.


And don't forget the flamethrower, spartan laser, and 4 types of grenades.

I'm probabley going to like GOW2 more because of it's amazing graphics but Halo 3 is probabley going to be better Online play so they're even in my eyes.

Its just not possible. Since gears 1 came out after halo 2, it obviously would have better graphics.

Yes halo1,2,3 may have more guns but the basic gears guns are way more fun cept the dual weilding. the only gun i like in halo is the glock in the first halo 1 lvl

halo 3 will be good just like it's succesers, 1 and 2. but personaly i think first person shooters like halo3 and 2 and 1 are shiza on console platforms like xbox and stuff. also in halo all you do is kill, kill and kill. thats pretty much the only thing in it to do. and the story is just to predictable for a space backround game.


GOW2 is excactly the same all you do is kill. but then again its fun and its story is a lot better than halo3.
in gow2 theres more action wich makes it better. second in gow2 if you try to aim at something or lock on at a specific target it won't take all of the concentration out of you.


cant really sum it up but i think i've expressed that halo3 will sell better but gow2 will be better in gameplay.
