Firefox or IE?

I just got firefox today i wanted to know what you ppls think is better.

FireFox is open source meaning it doesnt run off of windows...
So if windows has issues then IE has issues...and IE has enough as it is

Lol i was about to say it seems like the other way around. IE does freeze alot, and i been using firefox almost all day today and it hasnt slowed once yet.

I like em both, but sometines FireFox freezes or just doesnt want to work with you, thats why i have IE as a back up.

firefox is wayyy better, IE is used by soo many people so its attacked more. plus, if you really miss IE, you can always download a skin that looks like IE for firefox. another upside is that firefox has soo many useful gadgets.
One thing i absolutely hate about IE is that when it crashes, it doesnt restore what websites you had open, but firefox does (it lets u choose that, or ur regular homepage).

I used to use IE on XP but after I got Vista I switched over to FF because IE is crap on Vista.

I like IE becuase of |33t Google toolbar 7.0.

But firefox is good too.

Firefox has just bumped IE usage below 50%. Maplestory a year ago used only IE now can be used with Firefox.

Also it is considerably safer with it's pop-up blocker and cookie blocker.

Flash and Java both have designed a Firefox version.

Also there are a lot of extensions you can install along with skins which are user-made.

Ok i can now say that...FIREFOX IS WAY BETTER THAN IE! :D I wish i would have downloaded firefox along time ago, i never thought it would be this much better than IE.

As for now, firefox still looks better than IE. The latest version of IE seems to be notihng more than a bad firefox copy. However, firefox does take longer to load then Explorer, and Firefox takes up more memory. For me, the only reasons that I still use firefox is that I´m far more accustomed to it than any other browser. There are better internet browsers out there, I´m just too lazy to change ship.

I like using IE for pawn because I could view it better while fullscreen, but firefox is more protected.

Yea, Opera is O.K. much better than IE but hey whats not?

Firefox is by far the best browser currently, in terms of security functionality and honestly since it does not attract garbage like a magnet like IE does, it is much faster.

The add ons I have are:

NoScript (I love controling what runs and what doesnt on web sites, really increases security without effecting the content of a web page, for example on this page I'm allowing pawn but not google analytics)

Ad Block Plus (Necessary, blocks every single add no dumb banners get past its filters, and If by chance one does just right click and hit block and viola done.)

Cookie Safe (lets me control which sites I want cookies from and which I dont)

I like using IE for pawn because I could view it better while fullscreen, but firefox is more protected.

You can also go fullscreen on Firefox by using the same key to go fullscreen on Internet Explorer. (F11)
