i was trying to get passed my parents security system (when u turn on the computer there is a password) and i went to boot menu choose a boot up thing and poof i was able to log in this is cool

This thread is in the wrong place but...

If you have Windows 2000 or lower: Skip to step 3 of Windows XP below...

If you have Windows XP:
1. Make sure no user is selected
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete 2 times
3. Type in Administrator for the username and leave the password blank. (this account usualy still exists on most computers)
4. Log in =)

Not sure if this works for Vista but it might.

I tried that too,I cant get to boot menu without a pass,help please?

1. Get a screw driver
2. Open the case of the computer
3. Get the manual of your motherboard and follow that instruction if you can find the manual...if you can't, you should see three little connecter pins *somewhere* on the motherboard with a little cap connecting 2 of the pins.
4. Remove the cap and put it on the middle on and the one that is not originally connected with
5. Wait a few minutes
6. Put the little cap back to original position, password is cleared.
7. Sadly your parent will notice if you cleared the pass...but if you create you own pass, your parents will think that they forgot the password....
8. If you use a laptop, umm...i have no idea.

1. Press on the icon that has a scissor and note.
2. Look on the right-bottom you will see save,Go advanced,delete,etc
3. Well,what? press delete and put a reason (Optional about the reason)

You can't delete the mod inbox/stuff,youll have do pm again saying that you already know how :/
