3 high ranks in less than a week?

Ok, Ive seen many people on pawn go from the rank of Lt. Commander to a third class officer in a little less than a week. That is more than 100,000 points in fewer than 7 days. I play pawn on an average about 2 hours a day, so that means some of you must be playing almost 5-6 hours a day? wtf? If there is something I'm missing here, or is it just my imagination? I've just found this a little odd to see lately.

Not really sure, I just see familiar looking names of people that have ranked up very quickly. And again, I have not done much investigation about this so it could just be me.

they could have been only a couple points away from the next rank and then played for a long time and ranked up again and again

You have a good point, but thats still at least 50,000 points or more in about 4 to 5 days. I dunno, maybe I just dont play pawn as much as I think :D

I don't feel like ranking to 50000 more points, so I just play a little bit at a time.

Alot of the better players can get about 2000 points a game

So if you play 4 games a day thats 8000 points

2000 points a game.

a game takes about 1/2 hour - 45 minutes (500 kills)

play 10 games.

20000 points in about 5 - 7 hours.

if you really want to play that long O_O

I average about 1,000 points a game, but again that is about only for about two hours which is several games at most. Just seems a little unnerving that somebody would play pawn 5-7 hours a day which they must be doing

rofl...i kno...freakin ppl r getting like 10,000 points everyday...i use to b ranked 50...now im 66...loli barley play pwn nemore so thts probablly y...n plus it gets boring juss killing ppl...i like having a challenge cuz its more fun...thts y i always play all pro battles n stuff like tht...

my highest i got in 1 day is like 35k....that day i was on the comp alot cause of bad weather...i get an average of 10-15 k a day..but now thatschool starts i can only get 7 k a day:(

I get about 6-10k a day, mainly depending if I feel like ranking or not. But now schools starting, I'll only get about 5-7k probably :(.

I think that they do play rather long hours on the game but who they kill? simple...GUESTS. They will find a game and play on it for a few hours and eisly get at least 1,000 points per 200 game. Tell me if im wrong but thats a preets good example of what most 'quick ranking' people do.

If I skipped school, the maximum amount of points I could get every day would be around 25'000. 25'000 X7 (a week) = 175'000. That gets you from Lt. Commander to Officer 2nd class in a week!

Lets see if I kept doing that....
4'000'000 (general of the army) - 330'000 (my pts) = 3'670'000

3'670'000 divided by 25'000 a day = 146.8 days or 21 weeks. Wow, that's still a very long time!

I guess I'm in a math mood right now.... just started school...
